I wasn't sure about this movie, but after I watched the first 10 minutes I was totally engaged with the cast and story. I recommend this movie.

I loved the ambiance and feel of this movie. The excellent direction and cinematography captured the environment not only of the seedy world of the motel but also the inner world of its characters. Hard to believe this is the director's first feature film. I look forward to seeing more from this director.

Lovely film to watch. The main actress plays in a gripping way. Clearly see how this movie was one of the most coveted at the Tribeca film festival.

Amazing film with wonderful actors. Excellent directing by Sonejuhi Sinha. Very poignant and touching : I loved the themes of immigration and women's friendship sharing the same hardships. Beautiful colours and great filming. I really recommend it.

"Exciting Thriller. Geetanjali Thapa and Olivia DeJonge deliver terrific performances in this one of a kind immigration thriller. Love the Thelma and Louise vibes but grittier. The camera work is really engaging, can't wait to see what the director does next!"

I really liked this film! Saw it at Tribeca last year and have thought about it often since. Really terrific direction & great actors! Stray Dolls is a thriller and a fun ride, for sure, but it's also very smart (politically incisive, sharply written, really has something to say) and emotionally on point! I'll admit I cried at the end.

With mesmerizing performances, (the great cast, including power house Cynthia Nixon, and wondrous Robert Aramayo), will take you for the ride in a sinuous underwater-like feeling, of suspense and excitement. Masterfully director Sonejuhi Sinha, creates a complex, multilayered and funny at times underworld that will glue you to the screen. A must see!
