Well directed and shot. Cute movie about a little boy who meets a little girl with a secret. Comics and aliens and superheroes, fun. And good for the whole family. We likes it.

Zooey is a mysterious girl that has moved next door to teenager Noah. They both become friends. He lives with an adult friend Owen and his father is searching for him and he seems to be abusive. Owen protects Noah. Zooey's brother tells Owen that she is very sick and Noah should not be friends with her. Zooey confesses to Noah that she is an alien. This low budget film from Ryan Harriss has sweet acting from the two young leads. The story is a hotchpot that really goes nowhere. I think budget constraints meant that the story was a bit all over the place and the director could never fully realise his vision.

Noah (Ian Mackenzie Register) runs away from an abusive foster father (adopted?) and stays in a motel with adult friend Owen (Lawrence J. Hughes) who does deliveries and likes alien movies. Noah meets Zooey (Karla Trautman) who lives in the room next door with her "brother". PLOT SPOILER" Zooey is an alien, that we see only once (low budget?). They become friends and then part. That is the whole movie. It wasn't that great as far as dialogue, plot, or acting. Seemed rather pointless. Guide: No swearing sex, or nudity.

It wasn't sci-fi and it wasn't drama. It was a story that never really got going because it was too superficial. With a better script it could have been a really good movie! Therefore only 3/10 from me.

It's not a terrible film, but it is molasses-slow. If all the long, artificial pauses in the conversations were removed, and the slowly-speaking characters actually conversed normally, this would be a 15 minute movie. The acting is a bit uneven (the actress playing Zooey is the best of the small cast). On the positive side, the cinematography is decent to good, and this film shows what can be done with a tiny budget ($15K). Sadly, there's a twist that goes nowhere, and the movie just sort of ... ends. VERDICT: 2.85 stars, rounded up to 3 (out of 10). Not without some merit, but I can't recommend it to the masses.

It's a really awesome movie, I love it. That's a cool action from the story goes. But, it was very quick to end the film. I think the director should make a longer story. Maybe 3 or 5 hours later. This will make the audience seem more imaginative into the film. Hahaha, I'm just kidding. Hopefully there are new ideas for the director and his men to make this film's story longer. And this time I say to the director, Zooey is very beautiful. She is so charming and adorable. And he's like asian, in my opinion. Maybe I fell in love with him. Her face is so beautiful. I hope someday I can meet him. Xixixi :)

This Is One Of The Best Touching Films I Have Seen In a LOOOONG Time, The Actors Really Did Compliment Their Characters...Then It Was Touching And No One Died So That's a Plus...I Would Recommend This Film With No Hesitation.

This film terms the story of a teenage boy and his mysterious teenage girl neighbour. It is a coming of age story, with a twist. If the twist was developed further, I would have been even more interested in it.
