I get that Bruce is having some personal problems & is making a ton of low budget fims as a farewell to hollywod but how can he in any circumstance allow himself to be a part of such a steaming pile of nonsense? I mean when he tells the guy to drop the gun for a second time, who has already shot the police chief & stabbed both his daughter & her friend and has a clear shot from behind of the unaware killer while he has a gun pointed Again at to his daughters head.. giving the killer the opportunity to once again turn & shoot the plice chief who then returns fire & shoots the killer but doesn't check to see if hes dead.. so he runs off . Again. I mean is this intentionally meant as a commentary about police being stupid? Then to bring it all home Bruce tells his daughter he going after her to do what he does best & promptly is shot & mortally wounded. Lucky he has the chance to kill him as well before he dies. Comon Bruce i know this isn't die hard but i would have thought being that your the only person in this film with any credentials youd have a say in the script not being a big fat number two.

This nice little Bruce Willis movie is perfect if you are a fan of the man. Good acting, good, great cinematography. Every character has motivation and there are some great twists and turns to make this a fun easy movie to watch if you are a fan of any of the actors.

This is a dreadful film. I've no idea what's happened to Willis but all his recent films have been rubbish. This is no exception. Poor acting, script, overdone idea, and even a touch of wokeness about it. No characters worth rooting for, bland and boring. What action there is. Is poorly executed bordering on amateur. Time to pack it in Bruce, time to watch Die Hard now out of respect for a great action hero.

Knowing Bruce Willis' diagnosis of cognitive Aphasia, it is hard to imagine his struggles in filming these last several films. I am happy to say, WRONG PLACE seems to be one of the rare occasions where the production ultimately does NOT seem hindered by his disease progression. In fact, the film itself is enjoyable, even if at times predictable.
The standouts this go round come from the supporting leads and, surprisingly, from ensemble members.
Director Mike Burns (Out of Death) does a good job of keeping the pace going throughout, something that seemed to be hit or miss in other recent Willis movies. The story of a meth cook hunting down a former cop (Willis) is what's just on the service. Below is a tale of heartbreak, loss and love. Stacey Danger (The Neon Demon) as "Tammy" and Ashley Greene (Twilight) as "Chloe" do an excellent job tittering between classic thriller vibes and relationship goals. Greene lights up the screen as a true badass, with her moments kicking tail being some of the true highlights.
Massi Furlan (Jumanji: The Next Level) is compelling as "Virgil" (even when his accent seems to wane). His shifty eyes and swagger are engaging.
Texas Battle (The Bold and the Beautiful) as "Captain East" gives one of the most solid performances in the film (sprinkled with some much needed humor). He is flanked by award-winning theater veteran Josh Rhett Noble (Law & Order: SVU) as "Officer Richter" who does a stellar job grounding each scene he has with his limited time on screen.
Michael Sirow (Fortress: Sniper's Eye) gives us a classic bad guy (including bumbling mistakes) and displays quite a bit of layers to "Jake".
Finally, Willis pulls through as "Frank". It's hard not to think of his real life struggles when you see him in despair over possibly losing more of those he cares about. Much like the fear of losing his abilities in real life. There's a slight twist that makes you think the film will land differently at the end, but the relationship he has with his on screen daughter feels heartfelt and pure. (Much like real life.)
All in all, it is a surprisingly inclusive ride you'll look forward to taking.

Dont know why he bothered accepting this script. Tbf I've seen worse films but how you could make this plot so bad of a film is a challenge. Directors past might have something to do with it, nevertheless a poorly edited, overly soundtracked nightmare. At some points felt like an advert.

Bruce Willis may be ill now, but he is a living legend so I say nothing about him.
However, what is going on with 'Joker face' Lauren McCord? Far too much surgery and lip and cheek fillers.
Direction was appalling, music was amateurish, dialogue was stilted and overly dramatic. Continuity was awful and acting was absolutely pathetic.
The film did not engage me at any single moment, even when I saw Ashley Greene which was the only reason I was going to watch this film anyway. She definitely peaked in the Twilight films and has not acted well ever since.
Honestly, if you have time to waste, are bored out of your head, dying for something...anything to watch? Don't watch this!
