This seemed interesting but it wasn't . I didn't like it at all.

I have been moved to tears by this very touching story. I do not care what anybody else says, this is an extraordinary film, all you need to understand it, is a heart. The cast is wonderful, including a 90yr old Eva Marie Saint. Just watch it and believe.

I Loved this movie! I thought it was excellent in every way. I really have no idea what the critics were looking at. Russell Crowe was amazing, and gave in my humble opinion, an Oscar performance. His facial expressions conveyed the character completely. I thought the Whole cast was just perfect. The dialog was great. Kudos to Akiva Goldman! He made a beautiful movie visually and conceptually.Just enough fantasy. Russell Crowe and Will Smith were great counterpoint to each other and the rest of the film. Loved Eva Marie Saint- what a pro she is - Smooth as silk. I have watched this movie 3 times. It just gets better each time. I haven't read the book, but now want to . The movie stands on it's own as unique timely and thought provoking. There are not many movies I want to see a second time let alone own- I do want this one in my movie library!

The cast for this movie was perfect. To have so many good actors playing in such a love story it was a refreshing movie. The originality in this movie was nothing but spectacular. I knew by the previews that it was going to be interesting with the bit of dark and light conflicts they show in the previews. But nothing stood up to what the movie actually was. I felt like I was brought back to the days of Hook, Legend (1988), and the classics that we wish movies were today. I believe anyone looking for a feel good movie with a villain, a love story, and adventure, this is definitely the movie for you. Please keep them coming like this. The reason I gave the film a 9 out of 10 instead of a complete 10 out of 10 was I wish the dark demon end of the film came out a bit more in the action scenes. Who doesn't like a bit more sci-fi.

This could have been great. Something tells me thus. Yet the naggin feeling that this film was purely made to pander to the multitudes of women, and maybe some men, that are obsessed with Farrell cant be shook. A bland sort of mysticism passing for 'magic' with angels and demons and Colin flying on a poorly winged horse that barely qualifies for a pegasus, and on and on with no need for a reason for Russell Crowe to be a jerk in yet another film. OH an WIll SMith is the shaitan lol. Get jiggy with the silly , fresh prince of darkness. WHAT IN OF THE EFFEIN' EFF?! Overshot for a film that almost seems geared towards family, yet has a fairly vivid sex scene in it along with deaths here and there. Then there's a time elapsement that is so simple I half expected TOm hanks to pop up out of nowhere playing God and speak about " Da true true" YEs folks, this film was even WORSE than cloud atlas. * Drops the mic*

The acting by Mr. Collin Farrell was at its best, he was excellent in many scenes especially meeting little Willa once she was a 90 years old lady, that scene was very touching and emotional. The entire film was a bit fantasy and stuff like that and the most of all was the story of the horse as he was flying around the streets of New York in 1915 and in 2014, both were excellent. The acting of Mr. Crowe was good as he keeps on running around to kill Mr. Farrell. Mr. Will Smith came twice with excellent acting as ever. The overall story was based on miracles and saving life and the topic was appealing. I like the movie as it keep my attention towards the film and I rate this movie 8 out of 10, as in overall the director and especially the musician Mr. Hans Zimmer were at their limits. The music was really heart touching and sad which really add to the story and was much appreciated.

I haven't read the novel but watched the movie directly. Its the movie about real-love, destiny and true soul-mate. All in our life is a mystery..whatever today's science was considered as Art earlier. The movie which is based upon the novel tried to depict the few above said things. If you love real-love, destiny/fate you will certainly love this movie. This is not a normal movie, a unique one focuses more on love-destiny. The movie tend to answer few of the following: Why this world, why we are here, what about stars, what about angels/demons etc. The world is fully of mystery/surprises. Be prepared to re-live your life. Thanks.
