You know you're stuck in a Canadian film when they speak English but use metrics. Photography seems to be the best part of the film. Characters are wooden, but there seems to be an honest attempt at humor. If this was really done on a $10,000 budget then I'm impressed by what must have been a voluntary cast and in this regard, I have to raise my review estimate. Look, a 3-5 star movie on a penny budget will certainly rate higher in my opinion than a multi million dollar movie that really sucks that I'd rate 2-3. Enjoy this easy simple movie ... just don't expect some classic movie!

Ok, so a bit corny, but funny too. Most important for golfers, there's some good advice from the pro in the movie, which we could all benefit from. I hope I take that advice this year!

What most don't know is this movie is what's known in the film industry as a "passion project" - a film not made with or for money, but with a love of filmmaking and in this case a passion for golf. Everyone involved in this movie donated their time and the entire 77 minute movie was made for... ten thousand dollars. So when comparing it to Caddyshack ($4.8 million budget in 1980) it gives you a different perspective on what was achieved here... an entertaining golf movie - in a world where golf movies come along once a decade if we're lucky - made for $10,000 by folks who simply love golf.

Almost seemed like they were trying to make a modern day Caddy Shack but failed horrible. It is not funny and its attempts at humor are sophomoric. Don't waste your time.

Shanked into the rough, a truly woeful attempt at schmalzy humour, don't bother teeing up this one - go straight to the nineteenth.

Amateuristic home movie. Play a round in stead. And who gave this a 10? The directors parents?

Simply if you like golf in any way then you can relate to this , great film to watch.

Fun for the whole family, we didn't stop laughing and we even picked up a few golf tips along the way. A great way to bring some light to a dark year. Would definitely recommend.
