What's Your Number?

Nice storyline. Although the happy ending is - as usual - extremely predictable, the events kept me exited throughout the whole film. Different theme's ('how to find perfect love', how people change in life and how family bonds can get tricky but always help you out) gave a little more deepness to this story, for me. The humor (based on a lot of stupidity and unluck) is sober, light, adultproof and well placed! To me this one is an adult and shameless feelgood-romcom!

Okay, I'm going to be totally honest: I would've rated it a six if not for Chris Evans. I mean, I think his charm was just infectious in this movie. Meanwhile, I did enjoy a lot of the humor in this film, but I didn't like Ally's character. I mean, yes, I know the whole concept is about a woman with a large "number," but I felt like her character was so typical of what a woman's stereotype would be. I mean, the woman sneaking out of bed to touch up before the man wakes up? I hate people like that. And most of all, Ally acted so immature at times, if not a little stupid. If this was a pure comedy, I'd laugh at Ally. But because this is supposed to be a rom-com, I'd have to really like that main character. The main character annoyed me, and I guess that kind of ruined it. Despite all of this though, I think it's one of those movies that's gonna be a guilty pleasure to watch. It's definitely cute, if not a very VERY typical and predictable rom-com.

The script is one tired romcom cliche sandwich. But anna faris and chris evans are funny and charming and very watchable. It's a pass the time flick nothing else.

Just another Rom-Com, genuine and funny at most parts and of course ends like every movie of this genre ends(Not a spoiler!). Both the stars have played their parts well and overall a good entertainer with not so cringy one liners and stereotypes. There are some few peppy pop songs from the era the movie is from, but I wish there had been some complementing background score, which is more a miss than a hit. I wish the director had put some effort to go off the track in few parts of the movie but had decided to walk only in the path already taken, playing safe. Definitely a movie you would forget watching in 6 months, but well worthy of spending 2 hours on a lazy Sunday afternoon!

This could be an excellent movie, but... the main actress ruins everything. I don't know if it is intentional, but if it is, damn... it sucks. If there was a different actress maybe the movie could be a 7 or a 8, but with the choice made, this is not more then a 4. She really ruins the movie, and although the main actor try to leveled up, he can't. She takes control of everything and it sucks. Can't conduct a solid character and definitely I can't see how someone can fall in love for her... See... but with low expectations.

It isn't a bad film, even so, according to my critical side It deserves a 3. Why? It's little original, the argument is stupid and the development is foreseeable since the beginning. However my other side says it is entertaining and it deserves a 5. My angel says I must give it a 5 and my demon says I must give it a 3. What I can do? The fair is give it a 4. Although there are some good gags, and Anna Faris one more time save a weak comedy with her big smile and her charming, What's your number is poor. Chris Evans also provides good things, but that isn't enough. I used to expect more. I recommend this movie to see it in the television, nothing more. A simple entertainment.

Initially it was passing like a routine western enjoy to full throttle. Soon caught the sincerity aspect of personal relationship. Girl lists how many boys she has slept with and now tries to make serious choice of one. A neighbour friend is helping her she some how gradually develops a good bond with him. The story is told with catchy lines and a little out of routine way to be said but the sincerity, freedom of choice in repo wins us. Same old wine in new generation bottle is served. Quiet passable.

This movie stands for the idea that if the people on a film are talented, you can take a terrible script and make something fun and enjoyable. The script is just horrible. A rich, amazing bod, blond, bimbo, realizes she is too slutty and worries she will never get married if she keeps sleeping around. I am shocked this movie made any money. But it is more like a fairytale/ First, the main character is, quietly rich. She lives in the heart of Boston, wonderfully filmed here.... and she has an amazing -- AMAZING apartment. She just so happens to have a single Chris Evans living next door and guess what, she sees him regularly. She goes to see an ex and he puts her up in a hotel and buys here a great formal dress (which fits). She travels all over the USA to find exes even though she becomes unemployed at the start of the movie. With all these eye rolling plot lines, it still is enjoyable and makes me laugh.

CHRIS EVANS AND ANNA FARIS was a weird match, but in this movie it really worked. AND THEY'RE JUST SO FUN & SWEET TO SEE Favorite Part: Ending as usual, it was so cute no matter what her number would be. He knew she was the one. I'm letting you know that this movie might be funny as hell when she was tracking all of her exes and turns out how losers they are, Chris Evans you know they never stand a second chance (what a lucky girl). BUT ITS FUNNY HOW HIS HUSBAND WAS IN IT! like dude Anna you're future was there... (sadly 2017: Chris Pratt and Anna Farris broke up) 10/10 -- RECOMMENDED TO EVERYONE WHO IS A SUCKER FOR ROMANCE
