Story is good & reasonably well directed movie as it is a copy of Spanish movies with unwanted nudity. Also Mr. Javed khan is helpful, Other similar characters are also good but taai & her Hindu boys are gangster. Strange!! Can't be seen with children & family due to unnecessary nudity possibly inspired by netflix type of movies where suddenly you start seeing a bed with two joined bodies. In the begining movie is little slow in first 30 minutes but thereafter has good pace. Acting good by all characters & they all fit well in to their role. Ritesh has completed almost entire movie in single dress. What happened to money remains suspense for ever. A good movie for one time watch.

We have such an agony that in Bollywood now even for a remake or copying a movie no one is taking an extra initiative or effort to add or create logical scenes as per Indian culture and geographical location. In a first look itself anyone can recognize it's an International copied or remake movie. Our film industry lazy guys are now just copying and pasting the content. Portraying scenes without any logic, promoting extra marital affair, defaming certain areas in Mumbai as Crime Hub shows all in negativity. Fardeen comeback is good but all others actors are OK. A one time watch movie on OTT and not to waste money and time in theatre.

*Visfot*-which translates to "eruption" or "blast"-lived up to its title only in the sense that it left my head spinning with confusion and disappointment.
Right from the start, the title feels misleading. When you hear *Visfot*, you expect chaos, explosions, or at the very least, a lot of action. But the movie delivers none of that. In fact, there are barely any action sequences, aside from one towards the end and perhaps one other scattered moment.
The film begins at a sluggish pace, focusing on Fardeen Khan's character and how his life has fallen apart. While the overall storyline makes sense, there's a lot of confusion in understanding the characters at the beginning. The movie stumbles through dull and disjointed scenes until it finally sparks some interest when the narrative shifts between Fardeen and Riteish Deshmukh's characters. The mystery that develops as their lives intertwine briefly engages the audience but loses momentum as the story continues. Soon after, we fall back into more confusion, as each character is driven by selfish desires, leading to a tangle of conflicting motives and unclear directions.
In terms of acting, everyone delivers a decent performance. There are no moments where the actors seem out of place or overly dramatic.
However, the main issue lies in the story itself. It's tedious and unengaging, with the plot dragging on and the ending offering little in terms of closure or satisfaction. The conclusion feels rushed, almost as if everything that happened was a bad dream, leaving viewers more confused than intrigued.
The film could have done better if the story was a bit more engaging in the sense of action and mystery as it was missing. The title sounds promising regarding there being a lot of action but fails to acknowledge that part in the film.

Shoaib (Fardeen Khan) is working as a cab driver to make ends meet and has a mother suffering from dementia. In order to look after her, he is stuck in Dongri though he had once left it. He has a supportive girlfriend named Lucky who works at a restaurant. Shoaib's friend leaves a jacket while getting arrested and the jacket contains drugs. A fire accident at home has Shoaib's mother misplace the jacket and now Shoaib is in trouble with a lady Don Acid Tai, to whom the drugs belonged. Elsewhere, Akash (Riteish) catches his wife cheating red-handed and in that process, leaves his child at the restaurant, Lucky works at. Things escalate enough for the kid to land up at Shoaib's house and Acid Tai turns it into a kidnapping for ransom. How does Shoaib and Akash get out of this mess, forms rest of the story.
I have not seen the original and still I felt the film to be dated. Produced by Sanjay Gupta and directed by Kookie Gulati, the screenplay simply lacked the highs and intense moments to sell this story. It revolved around the same Dongri being the place for criminals and a couple pretending to live a posh life while in debt, two opposite worlds colliding while neither of them being truly happy in their respective lives. The narrative remains one toned and sadly, there aren't any memorable characters as well. Seema Biswas in her brief appearance is obviously good but even her role is not the main focus. Both Fardeen and Riteish's roles needed better treatment too. Overall, Visfot falls under "been there, seen that" list of films, offering nothing interesting.

Visfot is a complete waste of 2 hours and 10 minutes. Fardeen Khan, in his attempt to make a comeback, has chosen a story that will likely derail that comeback entirely. Abbas Dalal's writing feels so confused that even Hussain Dalal seems unsure of what to do with the plot.
It's a wasted opportunity for fine actors like Riteish Deshmukh and Sheeba Chaddha, whose talent is completely underutilized here. The kind of movies Jio Cinema picks really makes you wonder if they need to hire a better content acquisition team.
Unless you're looking for a visfot (explosion) in your head, stay far away from this one.
