Movie based on true facts about a Mafia robbery in the 70s in Rhode Island. It is a competent film but almost like a documentary, it will certainly be factually very correct but misses something more exciting and dramatic. I recommend it only to fans of robbery movies...

Suspenseful. Keeps your interest. Entertaining. Denucci is getting better with each film.

This film is about Gerry hire Deuce and Chucky to rob his rival bonded vault! Entire film full of boring and unnecessary conversation! Most intense scene is Chucky fighting in the prison! Deuce kissing Karyn scene also very bored and overuse! Karyn fall in love with Deuce after Deuce rob the bank she working! Really ridiculous! Gerry actually no intention to pay both of them any money after the job done! Deuce eventually offer by a so called witness protection program to testify who involve in this robbery! That's all! Completely wasting time to watch!

All of that positive reviews are from family and friends that the director asked them to leave because he didn't like that real reviews saying the movie wasn't good. I saw that video on his Facebook page of him asking people to leave a good review. Bad writing, Bad acting, bad acting and more bad acting.

There is no one that doesn't appreciate a good mob story! The originality of this film was impeccable. The color, the music, the acting and writing was on point! I wanted so much MORE! Theo Rossi was amazing ... and Chaz P. depicted Raymond perfectly. I couldn't get enough of the scenes in RI and the twist at the end was nothing short than genius writing! Congratulations to all! Oh BTW... Don Johnson... was the perfect Frenchman! Way to go Tommy DeNucci & B Dolan. Music was on spot! Not loud not overpowering of movie! Just fantastic!

Authentic acting based on a real-life incident. The only unrealistic part of the movie was Duece's family and friends (all dozen of them) welcoming his new black girlfriend with open arms... in 1972. No shocked looks, stares, gasps, etc. Of course times have changed but most Caucasian families were the same back then. Yes, my father's side of the family is from The Hill in Providence and Patriarca Sr. was actually at my parent's wedding in 1969. I'm writing this review here because the admin of the Facebook page deleted my comment. One of those admins that only allow glowing, positive reviews and no criticism, constructive or otherwise.

Giving this movie 1 or 2 stars is criminal in itself hence I was forced to write a review. OK there are better mob movies out there but there are also a lot worse. Plus it's based on a true story so when some of the other reviews blame 'the story' please engage brain before reviewing. It's a stylish recreation of the 70's & tells a story of one of the biggest heists in American history that actually saw the downfall of the Mafia. What else do people want from a low budget movie?

If you like true crime and history, as I do, I enjoyed this. I loved the facts, the locations, Providence, the towns, and the zany spot-on characters. I thought this was fun and well done. The casting was superb, the acting was good, the cinematography could have been a bit better, but all in all, this is a fabulous heist movie that is TRUE. Not a commercial film, but I liked that it had an artsie feel to it. I've already recommended it. I read the rest of the reviews and had to laugh about the 'bad acting' I've lived in Boston, and know Providence and run into these 'characters'. Not the ones in the movie but similar and trust me, that's not bad acting, that is spot on acting for character that ARE bad actors. They walk like that, they talk like that, they interact like that. It was so funny to me that the reviewers missed that. Good job on the film!!

From the story line through too the acting. Just because it's a true story doesn't make it a good film.
