I thought that the premise and some elements of David's story felt compelling and worthy of my interest...up to a certain point. It eventually lost me when more and more details emerged and with what was really going on with him. It was basically a photocopy of the Matrix with less action (which many films were at that point in time but ended up not being really as cool). Plus, I'm normally a big fan of Tom Cruise and admire both his physical roles and roles involving just acting and dialogue, however even I have to admit that he comes across as a arrogant and egotistical character in this movie who's not very worthy of my sympathy.

I hated this at the theater, when I finally seen it again on DVD 6 months later, it was so much better for some reason. By far one of my favorite movies, the soundtrack is perfect for every scene.

I felt SO disturbed and confused and stressed out right to the end. I've never seen anything quite like it. I had no clue what I was getting myself into when I started the movie (thought it would be about a cocky pilot or something) so the shock of the plot had a lot to do with my reaction I'm sure. Nevertheless, mind bending is a nail on the head description of this movie.

Nothing to complain about here. Just sit back and get lost in this movie and you will come out with a new perspective on life. Some of the most memorable lines ever. Definitely my favorite movie of all time. The Perfect film. After you watch this you should go and watch Open your eyes.
