I give high props to the latest installment of the vhs series, it is one of the best rivaling 1&2. Had one of the last two shorts been a bit better, this would have been a horror classic. The first three shorts had 2 that were amongst the best in the franchise and another that was very good. The last two were a bit mixed. Overall a great watch though. Here are my thoughts on the shorts. Stork-A Started off with a banger, about a group of police who hunt down monsters. One of the beat shorts of the whole series, i would like to see a full movie on this. Dream Girl B+ Story of a pop singer who is not what she seems Some great scares and body horror. Live and let dive A Another banger. Again one of the best of the series. A skydiving birthday trip goes wrong when a ufo is spotted. Awesome action and gore. Fur Babies C Just an okay short. It kind of didn't fit with the rest of the shorts. Was pretty predictable and had characters making incredibly stupid decisions. Stowaway B- This one was hard to rate. Unlike fur babies, it fit the theme of the movie well. However the story kind of dragged until the twist at the end. Wrapper Story B Probably the best fit for a wrapper story about a man who disappears. The climax was a bit simpler then i would have expected but it was still decent.

It's impressive just how bad V/H/S Beyond is. The first segment is pretty good. It's captivating and manages to mix the different elements of horror well. But unfortunately, it gets worse with each subsequent segment. The dog one, however, takes the cake, although the indian one is a strong contender. I honestly think V/H/S Viral is better. Beyond has no atmosphere at all. It's not eerie, creepy or sinister, it's just disgusting and disturbing. Another reason why this one failed is because of the bad CGI and the unbelievably stupid decisions the characters make. You shouldn't have to roll your eyes every 10 mins in a horror movie.

I was really looking forward to Beyond, V/H/S series have been sort of my guilty pleasure and having learned that Beyond was gonna focus on stories about aliens, I was really excited, as I'm really fond of the subject. And, well, it was alright. Most of the segments here are pretty enjoyable, although I have an issue with the last one. The premise of it was probably the most interesting to me but it was almost unwatchable because of the actress. I know these movies don't exactly have the best acting, but hers was the newest low. In fact, I don't think it can get worse than that. Either way. I had a nice evening watching this and you will too, if you embrace the campiness and just enjoy the silly fun.

Fantastic anthology movie, I have been down on the VHS franchise as of late. Beyond has changed that opinion, this was such a well made film from the writing to the acting. Shudder is really proving why they are better than Blumhouse right now. I can't wait to see what they come up with next. The SciFi elements of this movie are fun and they have some great scares as well, every story in the anthology are well thought out. The airplane sequence is incredible, usually franchises like this just get worse as they progress through their sequels, I truly believe this is easily the BEST VHS movie to date.

Not sure why this movie has so many high ratings; it was quite disappointing and brought nothing new to the V/H/S universe. One of my main issues with this movie was how long the segments were. If all the segments had been 6-7 minutes shorter, it would've been better, in my opinion. Stork: I loved the idea and thought the execution was fine, but it just went on too long. The stork monster was cool-looking, and I wished we'd seen more of it in action. It felt underwhelming how quickly it got killed. The "zombies" didn't do much; overall, it felt like there was no threat in this segment, which is essential for V/H/S. Still, it was a solid and fun short film. Dream Girl: Not much to say about this one. It was fast-paced and delivered what you would expect from a V/H/S segment, but once again, it went on for too long, and that time could have been used for more buildup to the finale. The effects were nice, though; it was one of the best segments of the movie. Live And Let Dive: I was so excited for this when I saw it in the trailer, and it didn't disappoint. The alien designs were amazing, and I think the overall aesthetic they were trying to convey was well executed. I thought the alien powers looked a bit tacky and ridiculous, but that's just me. The abduction at the end was cool. Fur Babies: Probably my least favorite segment of the whole franchise. The idea was just confusing, and the execution was poor. The costumes and effects were not well done, and it looked like a parody of an actual V/H/S segment-just really lacking in all aspects. Stowaway: This was such an amazing segment-definitely my favorite. The effects were really cool, and I think the overall alien aesthetic was well made. It was a bit slower than I would have liked, but still a really interesting take on the V/H/S style. The wrap-around tape was good, though there's not much to say about it since it was missing from half the movie. Still, the ending was sick. Overall, I didn't love the movie, but that was probably because I expected too much from it. It was a fun watch, but as others have mentioned, don't expect too much from it. It's nowhere near the other V/H/S movies, though solid 6th place in the ranking.

Great movie. Solid stories, but I didn't care too much for the main story line; usually I like them. The firefight scenes in Stork were fantastic with the visuals, lighting, and sound. The visuals in Dive were amazing after the plane rips apart. And, my favorite: Stowaway. I'm my opinion they really captured what it might be like to travel at the speed of light while your body rips apart, only to continually be put back together and killed again. The audio and visual effects are top notch and you can really, genuinely feel how much and she was going through. I love this series. You all did a great job and deserve every bit of success. I look forward to the next one.

After painfully watching "V/H/S/85" and struggling to get through it, I did not have high hopes for a follow-up, but "V/H/S/Beyond" is a relentless assault on the senses, a cinematic horror experiment that boldly pushes the boundaries of fear. This latest installment in the acclaimed V/H/S franchise delivers a chilling collection of 6 found-footage segments. The film's wraparound segment, Abduction/Adduction, sets the stage with a compelling documentary-style exploration of a mysterious house. The subsequent segments, including Stork, Dream Girl, Live and Let Dive, Fur Babies, and Stowaway, offer a diverse range of terrifying encounters with extraterrestrial life, monstrous creatures, and unsettling technological horrors. Stork is a standout segment, delivering a high-octane monster hunt with a chilling twist. Dream Girl offers a nightmarish exploration of celebrity culture and the dangers of unchecked ambition. Live and Let Dive is a claustrophobic survival tale that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Fur Babies is a disturbing exploration of human experimentation and animal cruelty. And Stowaway is a haunting meditation on isolation, mutation, and the horrors of infinite space. V/H/S/Beyond is a must-watch for fans of horror and sci-fi. It's a film that will stay with you long after the credits roll, leaving you both terrified and exhilarated.
