One would think that with a seventy two million dollar budget, the producers would be able to hire a physicist adviser. The lack of scientific facts and the utter disregard for physics spoiled any kind of story they were trying to tell the viewer. The ignorance of the main character and his lack of logic in his actions kill the whole love story. The movie shows a lot of situations that make one wonder "how could that possibly happen" or "how would that work" or even "Why would they build something like that". Long and the short of it is that this movie made no sense what's so ever. In my opinion it was written with the hope that the viewer had no sense of logic or knowledge of science at all. I strongly suggest waiting till it comes out on cable. Don't even waste your money on a rental.

An atrocious film with a ridiculous premise, written and directed poorly. ... oh, you're still here? I'm not sure why. Do not watch this and your life will be better. The main character - I'll call him simpering simpleton for his enduring star struck wonder for everything Kirsten Dunst. She's fine in her role but the way the two gravities is explained and the way this romance plays out is contrived to say the least. The one positive is the visuals but that is probably the only positive. The fact that this unflushable turd was greenlit with what is reputed to be a 60 million dollar budget is anyone's wonder. Even if you're a romance-aholic that can sit through any pile of dreck with Jennifer Anniston attached to it, you'll be rolling your eyes and have steam shooting out of your ears at this abomination to science and story telling. I've never come across a less inspired romance or story. The fact the two worlds is upside down is pathetic. Science bedamned; I think I need to be hopped up on every possible drug on this planet for this story to make sense. I could go on but I won't. This is a waste of two hours of your life that you will never be able to get back.

For me it was an excellent movie. I loved the images. I can say that this movie is exactly the kind of movie i've dreamed to see all my life. The concept used was genial. It was also very romantic and it showed a contrast of our world, the gap between rich and poor people, and how difficult is for a poor man to reach up high. Some people tend to find this movie silly but it's really not. It's a very beautiful movie. It's perfect for couples to see it. The action is good and at the end everything goes well. For those that are not sure about watching this movie, i suggest you do. You'll enjoy it a lot. P.S The building of the Two worlds restaurant from the movie looks a lot like the most representative attraction of my city Constanta, The Cazino. That is one of the reasons that made me love this movie.

I saw this movie with a couple of other friends, and this movie magically fits itself right into our love and outlook on life. I fell in love with this movie and learned a lot about myself watching it! I saw only beauty and truth in what this movie had to say! Definitely left me feeling like I was walking on a ceiling as well. Grateful this movie exists, for those with open hearts. Recommended to enjoy this movie: Be present. Be open. Be happy. Be aware. Be connected. Have fun. It is an adventure movie which asks you to join the ride. If you have no connection to this movie or pull to watch it after watching the preview, then it might not be a movie for you. Movies like this tend to target a certain audience who are willing to be inspired in life to move to the next level of consciousness. I have seen so many movies which have had not awesome reviews, and have taken my breath away with how connected to the film I was. True beauty! Ready for lift-off when you enter the theater! :)
