When people say, "So bad it's good", this usually implies a lack of self awareness or skills on the part of the movie maker. Despite its flaws, you appreciate the effort or just laugh at the shear failure of the movie.
Here, with Unbelievable, we simply have a bad movie. There is clearly no effort to make an entertaining film. The cinematography is lifeless and cheap sets are frequently hidden by close cropped shots. The script has no spark and less humour, it's criminal to even mention Airplane in comparison. The level of parody here makes the likes of Meet the Spartans seem oscar worthy. You're pretty much left with a tired series of "naughty/lewd" (dead on arrival) jokes that have no set up and are limited by PG-13 restrictions. Beavis and Butthead did it better and with surprisingly infinitely more class.
So what are you left with? A movie where you'll just spend the entire runtime wondering why so many Sci-Fi (and specifically Star Trek) actors signed up to be in this film. Given the budget it's clearly not a massive paycheck although I guess it's a bit more than they'd get via Cameo.
You'll be better off just cruising IMDB and looking at their profiles. It'll be a lot quicker, cost you nothing and it's likely to be funnier.

A few years ago, I was at a Star Trek convention in Las Vegas and saw that there was a free screening of "Unbelievable!!!!!" in a nearby hotel. I didn't have a lot of interest in seeing it but was convinced by one of the producers to see it when he learned I was working for a website that specialized in film reviews. I absolutely hated it...and later the same guy begged me NOT to post my review so I didn't. Years have passed and I notice that the film was finally released and I may as well post my impressions of the film to IMBD...mostly to warn you!
Before I get to this, I should note that I briefly talked to one of the actors who was in the film, Tim Russ. At first he couldn't immediately remember being in the movie but when he DID remember, he rolled his eyes and said something rather derogatory about it.... I can't remember exactly what but it was clear he regretted appearing in the film. I could understand why!
The film stars a lot of B and C-list actors...many of which used to appear on various Star Trek shows. Additionally, Snoop Dog, Gilbert Gottfried and a few others were in the picture. While I love Star Trek.... I just can't pretend that the film was good or that it was funny. I am a fan...but NOT one who blindly enjoys everything Trek related.
The story is dopey. A crazy humanoid plant (Gilbert Gottfried) is angry at the human race and he (it?) is somehow turning all the people of the Earth...and Moon...into plants. So, it's up to a team of incompetents to somehow save the day.
As I mentioned above, the film is cheap and, I might add, cheesy. The special effects are deliberately terrible, the main character (obviously modeled after William Shatner) is a marionette much like the ones seen in Team America: World Police and it's chock full of very bad jokes and silliness. But, having seen this at the recent Star Trek mega-convention in Las Vegas, I also know that most of the folks at the convention will love the film because it makes many allusions to Star Trek and they'll get to see many of their favorite stars in action. As for everyone else, unless you love deliberately bad films (such as "The Toxic Avenger"), stay clear as many of the jokes won't make as much sense and you won't have the same nostalgic connection with most of the cast. Overall, a very hard film to rate...and I think I almost sort of liked it despite its many, many deficiencies....but I'd have to be drunk to want to see it again.
NOTE: A lot of super high scores and reviews that were one or two sentences in length were all made about the same time for this bad film. While I might be wrong, usually this means the filmmakers are trying to do damage control and pump up a bad film's ratings. I've seen it several times...particularly with small independent films. I wish IMDB would consider removing them, as they simply don't reflect the quality of the film AND are so short they're not even reviews. For shame.

...A completely ridiculous over the top parody that even makes a joke about how it just keeps going...and going. One of those intentionally "bad" films that will no doubt gain cult status in the future. I mean, snoop dogg? Nichelle Nicholls? It's got everything.

The idea of green plants invading planet Earth is ridiculous but this movie has turned it into a parody, with a storyline that is quite unpredictable, and a cast that is very brilliant. The music is stellar, in my opinion.

Very funny parody of a tong of old sci fi shows and movies! Had a blast laughing at the scenes and truly enjoyed the flash back to old nostalgic Star Trek shows and movies!

Hilarious plot, nothing to be too serious about. Perfect for Covid lockdown days...a must watch for star trek fans!

As of 9/3/20 this film had a 4.1 rating with 500 votes. It now has a 6.2 rating with 800 votes, with ALL OF THEM BEING FROM THE USA IN THE PAST FEW DAYS. Clearly the filmmakers are trying to use money to cover up the bomb this movie is, especially considering all the accounts are new and have no other reviews (the ones mentioning Emily Stanton are probably the filmmakers themselves). How come there's so many positive ratings but most of the written reviews are negative? Must be nice to have that kind of money right now to pay for positive reviews.

Good grief this is a horrible movie, yet we couldn't stop watching it. I am pretty sure we have hit the bottom of the pandemic viewing options available. Costumes remind me of a David Lee Roth music video, props include some random animals, a gigantic weed farm, and some weird random garage sale cast offs. Oh, and a bubble machine. I think you're supposed to be high af when you embark on this cinematic tragedy.

I didn't get it. I wanted to like it, it looked like it'd be funny. I'm a big Star Trek fan. It was great to see the actors from all of the different versions of Star Trek. I LOVED watching "Chekov" run over "Kirk" with the fire truck. "Uhura" using the force to choke someone. That had me doubled over laughing.
I honestly feel like the entire movie was a set up for the outtakes that they showed at the end. Without the movie, the outtakes wouldn't make any sense.
There were a few funny parts, but it just seemed like it was written by different people and "shoe-horned" together to make a movie.
One thing I did learn, Snoop Dog is a HUGE Star Trek fan.
I gotta wonder, why did these, relatively speaking, big deal actors do this? With a budget of 4 million, I can't imagine they got paid much, if at all. Were they bored? Did they just want to do something else? Did they just want to be silly? It explains why it took 4 years to get this out. Maybe we have COVID to thank for this? They didn't have anything ELSE to do, so they did this?
