We TIVO'd Twitches and watched it over and over. Even my 17 yr old son watched it several times. We would still be watching it if someone had not accidentally deleted it. The kids liked it, I liked it, even my husband watched it and liked it--and he NEVER watches family programing. The story was good, the cast great. My children are all adopted and appreciated that aspect of the story line. It was great to see Tia & Tamara in a new program, although we love reruns of Sister, Sister. We would love to see it be a series on the Disney Channel or at the very least, see a sequel made to Twitches. Maybe call it "Twitched". Our favorite Disney made for TV were the Hallowteentown trio of movies until TWITCHES. WE LOVE TWITCHES

those of you who actually liked this movie must be like 12 or have never read the entire series. So Many things are wrong with it that the entire thing sucked. First of they had Karsh as a grumpy middle aged guy when he is supposed to be a wise elderly mentor for Ilena (Guardian) and the girls (Tracker). Ileana is supposed to be Vain Self absorbed shown easily through her "Catch phrase" for lack of a better term "Call me goddess". They entirely left out half of the cast such as 4/6 members of the 6-pack, Cam's Brother (Dylan), Evan (Alex and Lucinda's Friend), The entire town where Alex was supposed to grow up, Alex's Personality she is supposed to be a skater chick and the like. And also half of the plot line. I personally am insulted that that movie made it do DVD and the halloweentown movies didn't although Halloweentown High was a bit of a stretch it was a necessary fill in for them to continue and Return to Halloweentown was a success.

This is definitely one of the to-watch movies on Disney Channel. I just finished watching it and am now watching the encore presentation. It has a very good plot, a lot of exciting twists, some hidden links, plenty of comedy, and characters you just can't miss. Upon just starting to watch the movie it won't make too much sense, but if you keep watching it makes more and more sense. There is some sobriety in the movie, so watch out, but it is mostly just good comedy. If you have seen the premiere of Sister, Sister, the show on Disney Channel, you can relate this to that, and I think that is what the writers were going for. I have a good feeling that this is one of the DCOMs(Disney Channel Original Movie) that will make it to DVD. Only select DCOMs have ever made it to DVD.Some of the people in this movie you might recognize from other movies, but you can figure that part out by yourself. Toward the end of the movie and during it, a little, it gets a bit lame, but who am I to judge. I give this movie a 10.

Overall this movie was really lacking what makes T*Witches "magical" for lack of a better term. This movie lacked the depth of the books and was made into a hokey comedy. After waiting years for this I am very displeased at what they have done to the books. It makes the books look corny and hokey, but they aren't. If you haven't read the books I suggest them to you, I think many will enjoy them more than this poor excuse for a movie "based on them" more like extremely loosely based on them. They probably should of went for the ages in the books since that's what Disney's age group target is around. They should of stuck to one of the books, or something. Actually I think they should of done a TV series it would of made more sense. The movie was not the most horrible thing I've ever seen but they could of done so much better with the material presented, or actually read the books! Or maybe have the authors come in and fill them in on the books if they don't have time to read them for the movie. It just sucks that this is what T*Witches fans have waited for years for, and this is what they get and it's all they will get. Which totally does, suck. I want to see the 5ft 4in, gray eyed, auburn haired, 14-16 year old twins from the books. I want to see their adventures played out, but I guess that'll never happen. :frowns: I guess I'll just re-read the book series when I get done with the book I'm reading and make my own movie in my head...

Does Karsh and Lleana date in the book? I don't know i have never read them. I like this movie but I have never read the books to compare them with some parts were a little boring and they did a poor job with the darkness. They should have mad it spookier. But I was really just wondering if Karsh and Lleana dated in the books because in the movie it seemed like Disney just sort of through it in pretty quick. Anyway I overall the movie was good except for some of the magic stuff could have been better. Well let me know about the whole Karsh/Lleana relationship because too me it was just through in their too fast and they never really seemed to get along until that one kiss but even after that they just went right back to fighting again.

This movie was a complete rip off of the original book. It was a great book, and they did almost nothing the same. The characters are nothing like the originals, the plot is a little similar, but, very different. Yes, of course, movies are always different then the book, but this is stretching it. I cant bare to see the author's face when she saw this. Maybe, just maybe, she was happy with it. But, I truly, doubt it. I give the whole thing a thumbs down. But, the plot they took, and called it Twitches was actually okay, so as for the plot they created, I give it a five. The only thing I really noticed was the same was that they met, way after birth. And that they are witches. But, of course, Alex and Cam are 21. In the original, they were in high school.

I was quite disappointed with this movie. I had read all the books and had enjoyed them quite a lot. When i saw the movie i was excited. I wasn't when the movie was finished. It was rather insulting. The movie was nothing what so ever like the books. It really disappointed me!! The characters name were all the same but there personalities were different.. The characters of ilena and karsh really got me angry they are not at all like that in the book, neither are marinda and thantos. If i was the writer of the books i would have been mortally insulted. If you're going to make a movie based on a book at least have the characters the same, or even the plot... It was a terrible movie to watch.!!

This movie is horrible! If anyone has ever read even one of the books, you should realize that they completely screwed this up! I don't particularly like Disney to begin with, but this just throws the entire company down the tubes. Sorry if you like the Mowry twins, but they weren't right for the part, and gave a complete and totally different cast to the storyline. First off, the movie kills the entire plot line. Not only do they keep Karsh alive, but they match up Karsh and Illeana. Normally, I wouldn't complain about the amount of romance, but this is overkill. Karsh is around two or three hundred years old. Illeana is around thirty. Secondly, they didn't mention anything (to my knowledge) about any of the trials these girls went through in order to get to defeating Thantos. They don't give much on the other characters that help the story along, nor gave much on the girls' backgrounds. On the whole, it was really badly made, and I think, for those of us who are older than the average 8th grader, it gave the entire series a bad name. But then, each to his own. Make your own decisions. But I would suggest reading the books.
