Favorite scene with Dr. Joanne "Jo" Harding (Helen Hunt) - Bill furious with her and then telling her how he truly feels about her. Dr. Melissa Reeves (Jami Gertz) - At the Motel, taking shelter during the Tornado, and telling Bill that she's leaving - especially him - and is not Upset about Breaking Up with him.

This is the best disaster movie I have ever seen in my life! The drama is so well built, the comedy got me all the time, the action is non-stop and always on without breaking the balance or tiring the audience. This is really well directed.

What a piece of junk. Non-actors populating a non-movie is not my idea of what cinema can be. If I never see Helen Hunt again, it'll be too soon. I don't mind Bill Paxton, because he obviosuly does not take himself as seriously as Ms. Hunt does. If anyone locates the director's brain, please return it to him.

After reading all the reviews on here I was skeptical to watch this. But honestly I don't get the hate? It's good acting, good simple plot, good watch all around. Loved the one scene at the drive-in especially. Don't listen to these 4 star reviews !

This about idiots who chase twisters for no reason. Just so the movie can go somewhere and they can have something happen. This is a badly written movie. I do not know why people like this, I do not why it got a 6.3 The story line is awful. The characters are so stupid. I do not see what the big deal is. A bunch of h.o.s.e.r.s chasing twister around . I meean what a stupid idea. A monster movie were the monster is twister that is just lame. People do not know when an original idea is just lame. This is boring movie. Good actors wasted there talent being in this awful movie. Do not waste your time. Do not waste your money do not see this awful movie.

Hang your science hat by the door when you're ready to watch this fantastically well structured and scripted thriller. It is not a science-based. It is a fun romp and you probably know exactly how it's all going to turn out within the first 10 minutes. It is a joy to watch it unroll.

It has amazing destruction scenes and has incredible special effects, it is very entertaining.

Brilliant all round film and unlike anything else. Great story about chasing twisters with a sad story of a woman who lost her father to one and tries to predict them to help others, some good laughs and a not to overpowering romance.
