The world had changed. Streets day by day were filled with protest. The unemployed. The lost. Chaos. Then something happened. Something though it had no name had arrived. Fear. Fear over took rationale. The streets became empty. The liberal ideal had become something unrecognisable. The new age of reliance had begun. The reliance on power. The reliance on comfort. On certainty. Something had happened. But nobody knew what. Until now.

If you don't want to to fall asleep, I recommend that you watch this movie at 2X playback speed. Even if it's done, no guarantee that it will work. This is the kind of movie that you know halfway that it is not going to be better toward the end. I was wondering how much I would have to be paid to watch this film a second time...

The Cinematography was brilliant, it really captured what was happening scene by scene and peoples expressions. the film was really well put together. it was a little confusing at the start but once the film got going you wanted to know what was going to be happening next and it had you hooked

I'm 25 minutes in, and I'm writing my feelings here to get it out of my system, while I'm still awake! Well that's my saracasm over, and now a punters point of view... It's slow. Music makes the movie slow. Cinematography is bad - or is it the director of the shot? - where 5 seconds of a movie is dedicated to watching a woman air cycle exercises - absolutely no point to that shot, or the length of time given. What seemed minutes... yes minutes, given to watching the actress face and text messages... is not going to sell this movie to get people talking. Story, direction, cinematography? I'm British. Proud. Come on guys, fellow Brit moviemakers, take your inspiration from the past greats? What makes a great movie? From movies such as Ace in the Hole, to Raiders Lost Ark, to Gravity, to Parasite. Break them down, why they are so good. Be successful, make money, produce more. PLEASE!!!! Aim for the next one. Learn. Don't give up. This one sucks.

I wasn't surprised to see in the trivia that this film took a long time to make. There has clearly been a lot of care and attention that has been taken to make a film of this standard for such a small budget. Yes it's a micro budget film but don't let that put you off. Some of the best films of last few decades particularly the 70s were full of low budget films which we now look back on fondly. I absolutely loved it's slow pace and philosophical underpinning. It's like watching a dream or a fable. This isn't a 'standard' film and it clearly isn't meant to be. If you are looking for a 'standard' independent film or something straight forward then you will be disappointed. This film demands more from its audience. Watching it is like deciphering a coded message. As soon as it ended I wish I hadn't watched it on my own as I wanted to talk about it and discuss the messages within it. I am frankly amazed that the film came out this year with it's virus theme. Do not be put off by any negative reviews. A film like this doesn't just come out every year.

The fact that his has anythiung other than 1-2 stars is an indication of the innaccuracy of this sites review system. Its a terribly boring movie with next to no script or imagination. Its like a college project. Terrible. Im glad i realised within first 10 minutes and just fast forwarded through the whole thing to get an idea of how bad it was. Dont waste your time watching this. Its a total bore.

Sorry, too weird even for me...and that is saying something. Don't care about random person or random person or random person. Don't care about beeps or boops. Don't care about ominous music throughout (if everything is scary then nothing is). Or the deep voice reading off poetry unrelated to what I'm seeing. Pay the viewer and maybe you'll get someone who actually finishes it. Or give an intro so we care about the characters...or have characters. Something beyond "child who we saw the parent and grandparent of once". Why would I want to watch a movie with text going by about how terrible the work is. Why not viscerally show me how terrible it is? Or at least hint at it. Though maybe they think this blank space is horrible (seems like life to me).

Supremely boring and uneventful. It's one of those where you keep watching in hopes something interesting will happen to justify the time you've already invested in it, but it just doesn't materialize. I gave up on it half way through and was bored out of my skull. The person watching with me shared my sentiment.

I found it hypnotizing with that soundtrack and the slow pace. The story is not apparent but the subtext is clear. Think of it as a distant relative to 12 Monkeys and you might like it.

It's so refreshing to see a film that is both thoughtful and engaging without being condescending. Right from the start it wraps itself around you with its sinister atmosphere. It is a very nuanced piece so you might need to watch it more than once. If you're not into sci-fi don't let that put you off as it's a drama at heart. Highly recommended.
