A real life documentary about Fear. Dakota Laden takes his sister, Chelsea, and best friends Tanner and Coalin on a five night journey to test their limits of fear. This real life experiment, and what they experience is like nothing ever captured on film before. What starts out as an experiment on fear, turns into the first ever real life horror film. Dakota does not tell anyone where they are going, just that it is a documentary on fear and they will be sleeping alone in what experts say are the most haunted locations in America. Feels scary, sounds scary, looks scary, but what they experienced night after night tested not only their beliefs but will test the beliefs of everyone that watches the film. This joyful group of friends on a road trip in a RV by day and sleeping alone at night in terrifying locations turns into something that still haunts them to this day.

I rated this a 10/10 because it is a real documentary that is NOT staged! It shows real and raw emotions, it shows the crew's real personalities and it makes the scary aspects of the show that much better. I watch it over and over again because it is THAT good! To finally see what started their show Destination Fear has been a gift and I will continued to watch their show and support this awesome group of people.

Dakota Laden, the mind behind this paranormal adventure is a talented, seasoned television personality. From his goofy parodies to this serious paranormal documentary, his love for his work is obvious. He and his family and friends make it feel like we are right there with them! Keep on keeping on with this talented crew. I watch anything and everything that this crew creates!! Love these guys!!

Trail To Terror is the BEST documentary I've ever seen. It was both amazing and terrifying. The amount of evidence they captured from all 5 of the haunted locations they went to was absolutely mind blowing. Fun Fact: this documentary film that Dakota Laden created is what inspired the incredible show, Destination Fear. 👻 (my favorite show of all time) I definitely recommend everyone to check out this documentary (#TrailToTerror) and TV Show (#DestinationFear). You can find both on Discovery +

This was by far one of the best paranormal documentaries I've seen. Especially since Dakota and the crew were using next to nothing for equipment. Also was some of the best footage I've seen.

This was the best paranormal documentary I have watched. I watch a lot of paranormal shows so sometimes its hard to get a good scare but this gave me a good amount of jump scares. Dakota, Chelsea, Tanner and Coalin were amazing. Very real and very authentic. Absolutely loved it and have watched it several times already and plan to watch more.
