I really loved this movie so much. this movie is so many tribute of 80's slasher horror genre like Friday the 13th, Halloween with the fresh new story of two serial killer want to famous by kill the people who they don't like or hate it.
i enjoyable this movie. great chemistry and insane performance by two actress (Alexandra Shipp and Brianna Hildebrand) with the many insane murder scenes. i really hilarious this movie until the climax prom scene at the end is so powerful (carrie's vibe) so really beautiful murder and powerful ending.

This movie has about as much personality and charm as a school shooter...and that seems to be its target audience. Not sure why its getting a single recommendation or positive review...It's not smart, it's not original, and there isn't a single redeemable quality.
It throws the occasional horror reference (like Dario Argento) just to prove its makers have seen horror movies before but they clearly don't have a clue how to make an effective one. There's a few grisly death scenes that might have been amusing in a Herschell Gordon Lewis movie but here it just comes off as desperation.
The story of social media addicted teen girls who kill for fame seems like a setup for satire. The problem is there isn't any evidence of it. In fact, I can't see any evidence the film has a problem with the sociopathic behavior of its central characters. It doesn't matter though since none of their victims are given any opportunity to make the viewer care.
This is horror/comedy for the Miley Cyrus generation. There's a lot that went into the production to make it look shiny, but in the end there's no entertainment in the final product.

Not since 1996's Scream has a slasher film this been much fun. It's not really tackling new territory here, but everyone involved is clearly having a blast and it's infectious to watch.
Two teenage friends spend their days checking their myriad social media accounts, hoping that they'll soon go viral and become famous. To hurry things along, they kidnap a serial killer and use him as their gateway to fame - staging murders in his name.
It's to the cast's credit that these two young women are, somehow, still appealing given their awful behavior. The films treats them as loveable buffoons you just can't help but sorta like.
Fans of fun, goofy horror-comedies will find a lot to love here.

I understand the hate but It's not that bad in my opinion! Starts out very meh but gets much better as it goes on, very funny and great kills otherwise yeah it's bad I still appreciate Tragedy Girls; I'd support them! I really like comradery between the main girls and how they tend to do whatever they want in a way. Really not as bad as people say I mean I've seen much worse horror films.

This film annoyed the hell out of me. i barely made to the end of it. i see some people enjoyed it and rated it positively. they said it's a twist on the slasher genre, so i guess that justifies everything. there's a scene where a student stabs a teacher and then slashes her throat. there's a scene where the two main characters lock in and set on fire all the kids on the prom night. and in the end they are rewarded for their acts, get a scholarship, or something and they drive off to the sunset together. and i guess bunch of people had no problem with that cause alexanbra shipp is hot, and brianna hildebrand looks fairly attractive with hairstyle she has in the movie.
someone made this film in the country where school shootings happen almost on annual basis. imagine how kids from Parkland High would feel after watching this film. director practically asks them to laugh with and root for his teen psycho characters.
the lesson of this film is just evil. i can't believe someone funded this morbid shit. there's literally a scene where one of the psycho girls falls in love with a boy, and directors makes it seem like she will choose him and normal life, before she hangs him and watches him die. oh yeah, and the girls murdered his mother and them used him for editing videos for their blog.
i hope i don't need to point out more examples from this film for you to get how disgusted the whole thing made me feel. i hope the flicks team reads my review and gets ashamed of their work.
i demand the director apologize for his work.
i demand all the copies of this crap be destroyed and the movie forgotten.
watch instead 'american psycho', film that doesn't glorify its psycho character and ask you to root for him
