It was hard for me to use the adjective "BLOODY", but for you Tracey...I will gladly put aside my usual boring choices to describe such wonderful work! I have seen this show on HBO 5 times now, and I have laughed until I have cried! It is so GREAT to see you back on stage where you belong. I thought the show was going to be like Robin Williams or Whoopi Goldberg's one-man/woman shows that I have seen previously on HBO, but with your special brand of humor and adorable characters (did I just call them adorable, some are quite scary!). What I got from the show was a FANTASTIC glimpse inside the mind of a comedic genius! What a TREAT! I loved the stories about the trials and tribulations of growing up (it is obvious to me as a teacher that you are and have ALWAYS been GIFTED my dear!), especially the one about your "STAR." Every time I here that a STAR IS BORN, I will always think of you...simply because no one can create and improvise a character quite the way that you do. I was a teen in the 80's and I remember hearing you sing (what I thought was your one hit wonder...who knew you had more!) "They Don't Know" and I remember comparing your talent to my other fave Cyndi Lauper. After laughing at your hilarious skits of your life story, and crying at the thought of how you coped with the passing of your father by making your mother laugh (I did the same when our family lost my 1 year old sister)...I have never left an HBO show with such a good feeling and it was if I had gone to therapy! Then to hear you sing my one of my fave songs at the end...it was just magnificent. THANKS TRACEY! GO HOME...but don't stay too long, we miss you on TV regularly :-)
