I'd really recommend watching this movie all the way through. It doesn't carry you all the way, so you need to have some preliminary interest(s) in the genres of this film, mainly parkour. If you are looking for a good parkour film, you're in luck and you should be pleased overall. Its also not bad for action, crime, or thriller genre-fans either.
The cast does a good job in their roles, though the script is fairly basic. The story-arc is intriguing throughout the majority, and while there are a few holes, I was left feeling content with the final execution. There is a very good amount of parkour-"action", so if you have any interest in this area, you should be well pleased.
I had no interest in the teen-drama aspect of the film, but the other aspects of the film allowed me to endure this weak point. They were probably trying to appeal to the female, Taylor Lautner fan-crowd on the romantic aspects of the story line. This is the first film I've seen him star or co-star in, and I will say that he did a decent job. It looked like he did a fair amount of the parkour moves himself, so he has my respect for his dedication to training for this film.
If you are a fan of District B13 movies, the video game Mirror's Edge, or just a parkour enthusiast in general, I really think you'll enjoy this flic overall.

-Tracers (2015) movie review:
-Tracers is about a bike messenger who tries to escape his debt with the Chinese mob by joining a parkour group. Somehow that makes sense.
-It is pretty much a movie starring parkour. No, I did not like it.
-The story doesn't really line up and it only 'jumps' from plot-point to plot-point through convenience and nonsensical events.
-The film takes a while to get anything done, and then rushes a lot, and then takes forever, etc.
-None of the acting is any good really. It stars Team Jacob from Twilight, who was not bad, but had nothing worth noting. Pretty much everyone is bland and uninspired. The two leads, who are supposed to end up together and stuff, have no chemistry.
-The characters are inconsistent and do things that just do not add up. For example: The lead gets his bike hit and ruined by a car. He lies about it later, which doesn't make sense. Like why would you need to? The villains are also likable, making the lead who can't pay these guys look worse.
-The music was fine. Interesting, fitting, and defining of a modern instrumental soundtrack and album. Doesn't fit the movie's quality in any way, but they get points for trying.
-The film does have its moments and the people in it do know parkour pretty well. But parkour cannot be enough to hold a movie together. Mix that with rather cheesy dialogue and the movie is just not good.
-Another example of the writing: Guy ruins his bike, two scenes pass, goes to a meeting with the Chinese mob in different area with his bike, and throws out bike. Does that mean you took the broken bike around with you? For like a day? Walking? To your meeting with the Chinese mob?
-Tracers is a poor excuse to feature parkour in a film. Kinda like Divergent. But not as good. Tracers is not really worth the time.
-It has some suggestive content and a PG-13 amount of language.

Hey, I am fed up with IMDb Reviews... most of them are really misleading... That's why I created my own account, just to write my own review.
The Plot is quite good, but might remind you of several movies you saw in the past. I won't gonna name them.
I have been parkour'ing/freerunning in the past, and that is the main reason I wanted to watch this movie. In all aspects of parkour this movie was really correct and entertaining visually. Really close to movies like Yamakasi or Banlieue 13.
Not a fan of Taylor Lautner, but that kid did great, I didn't do the research but i think most of the tricks he did himself.
I am 23 years old male guy and I generally enjoyed this movie. Wasn't hoping for much, but it really surprised me. Acting was enough to make me believe and the action was great.
I think you should try it out. DVD option will do the trick.
Good Luck.

Cam (Taylor Lautner) is a bike messenger who owes big money to Chen in China Town, but becomes interested in Parkour when he crashes into Nikki (Marie Avgeropoulos) and he sees an opportunity to make even more money to pay off his debt. Well, he likes Marie as well. Ahhhh
here we go.
Parkour is a style of free running that involves running, jumping, climbing, sprinting, flipping over walls and cars, and leaping over well, you name it. It's like gravity doesn't exist for them. Cam witnesses this group doing their thing around the city and is intrigued.
Cam starts Parkour training with Marie who tells him, "It's like a state of mind. Don't look where the car is, look where the car isn't." as he stumbles around learning the moves and eventually he becomes good at it.
Then he wants to know what this group does and why. Here's the thing: they make things disappear for big money. If there is evidence that would send someone to jail, they get rid of that evidence. Or they break into warehouses to steal valuable items for buyers who pay upon delivery. Miller (Adam Rayner) is the boss who lines up the jobs. Cam wants in as he reasons he can pay off Chen quicker and get Chen's Enforcer off his back. And, of course, he likes Nikki. Of course.
These Parkour scenes are like watching monkeys run rapidly through busy city streets and it will definitely get your heart racing and pounding as you will feel like you are running with them. The choreography of this Parkour is outstanding. The music helps all this along as it should.
The sub plots to this story are compelling and keep us engaged. Who is Miller and how does he know what jobs are out there? Why does Miller say they do not do jobs in China Town? Why is Nikki involved with Miller? How can Cam get Nikki away from Miller? Most jobs do not involve guns, but suddenly guns are being used. Cam realizes he is becoming a criminal but doesn't like the guns aspect.
Everything climaxes in China Town. Whaaaat? Well, we just knew we would, somehow, end up in a place the group was not supposed to go. Google Parkour if you want to know more about it. If you decide to do Parkour, make sure your knees are good for it. As for me, I'll pass. Ha! (7/10)
Violence: Yes. Sex: No, a make-out session doesn't count. Nudity: No. Language: No. .

The werewolf from Twilight plays a down on his luck bike messenger who gets involved with a group of Parkour trainers that get him evolved in a criminal delivery service for extra money.
The action in the movie is pretty excellent. I remember Parkour from back in 2004 when I first saw the French film, District 13 followed by the opening sequence in Casino Royal a few years later, but other than the remake of District 13, Brick Mansion, the discipline has not grown past YouTube videos. That's sad, cause it works so good for chase scenes, which this movie had a lot of good ones.
It was cool seeing Taylor Lautner do Parkour, and he really does do it, at least the basic stuff. If your a fan of his, you'll love that.
Released by Saban films, the guys who brought us Power Rangers, it has a very kid friendly Disney-like vibe to it, only a little edgier to appeal to more teens and young adults. Reminds me of Rooftops (if you haven't seen Rooftops, you have to)
I'm actually fine with the Idea of Lautner trying to be a Teen hearthrob/action hero. I found this movie as enjoyable as I found his John Singleton directed action thriller Abduction. It was fun to sit threw and I kinda hope he makes more. Seriously!

Sigh, where do I begin....
Oh Taylor, have you given up since twilight? Or is it that you are just a great looking one dimensional person?
Taylor Lautner has literally played the same role since his twilight days and I feel myself saying F it and not watch any of his movies anymore.
Twilight was fun, Abducted was sexy, Valentines day was cute, then he layed low for a while moving to the UK to star in the BBC show which isn't a bad show and now this. But that is EXACTLY the problem. His character roles have been the exact same, all in "not bad" shows and movies. He has never once starred in a great movie or show since (arguably) Twilight and quite honestly I do not think he is taking acting seriously.
The rest of his Twilight co-stars have gone on to star in many amazing movies while Taylor's movie just have you giving a shrug and saying to yourself "well... it wasn't THAT bad". Taylor has been an actor for DECADES, and yet you will think every movie he stars in is his first, with his subpar acting and cute yet serious persona, mixed in with decent martial arts tricks, making you want to forgive him for his not so good acting until you remember HEY YOU HAVE BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR YEARS, YOU SHOULD BE DOING BETTER THAN THIS.
I do not think all hope is lost for him though, I do think if he starts taking his acting a bit more seriously, he can surely be staring in huge blockbusters, eventually taking the place of all these action heroes we enjoy watching e.g. Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Tom Cruise, Dwayne Johnson etc. but until then, he will never be taken seriously and his fanbase will forever be teeny boppers who get off on the "whole good looking bad boy don't care for a storyline" movies.

This film is fun! Full of action, pleasant to watch, not unpredictable but captivating nonetheless.
Marie Avgeropoulos is really pretty and athletic, Taylor Lautner plays her opposite and I guess that he results equally attractive for female audience.
Daniel Benmayor's direction is not ordinary at all: the camera relentlessly follows characters' evolutions adding movement to movement. Filmed this way Parkour is irresistible!
One last mention goes to Matt Johnson who wrote the screenplay: he has talent for this kind of flicks. Check 'Into the Blue (2005)' if you don't believe me.
