Anne Heche and James Tupper star in this independent film about a possible pandemic. Heche played a doctor who discovered metal in her patients. There is a government and corporate involvement. It's a fine film free on streaming, Anne Heche was believable and good in this role. She had so much promise and potential in acting onscreen. She took this role and made it her own. The film is watchable though. Barclay Hope Is also a wonderful actor as well. James Tupper had a key role in this film too. The film is set in Spokane, Washington but filmed in Canada. Tupper and Heche had worked together before.

The plot has more holes than a dozen golf courses, including the practice putting greens. Viruses aren't cured by vaccines, the don't create metal. Decontamination is a lot bigger deal than they show. No sterile technique in the hospital. Don't know how to run a code. No concept of biolab security. Should I go on? Acting, is poor, epilogue is trite. A waste of time unless you want to make fun of it along the way.

Have you heard of predictive programming? This is exactly whats actually happening now + radiation. Funny how they planted this in peoples heads in advance! Take care and be safe! ✌💜

Sure, when I sat down to watch the 2008 movie "Toxic Skies", I must admit that my level of expectation wasn't exactly sky high. I mean, the movie's synopsis didn't really sell the movie all that well, and the movie's cast wasn't exactly something that had me thrilled either. But I hadn't seen the movie, much less heard about it, so of course I sat down to watch it now in 2020, as I had the chance to do so. And I will say that "Toxic Skies" was not the worst of movies I have seen. However, it wasn't really an outstanding or particularly memorable movie experience either. The movie was watchable, and that was about it. Story-wise then "Toxic Skies" felt a bit shallow and pointless at times, especially since writers Andrew C. Erin and Kyle Hart seemed to be stumbling about in the dark at times. The movie had its ups and downs, that was for sure, so there were moments of boredom in the movie as well. As for special effects, well let's just say that you shouldn't expect to be blown away. However, it should be said though, that the movie wasn't really depending on having an overwhelming array of special effects to work its magic. The few effects that were there served their purpose, and that was it. "Toxic Skies" does not bolster itself on having an overly impressive cast list. Anne Heche was the most prominent name in the movie, and even this wasn't her finest moment. Sure, she made it watchable, but she has much better movies to her name. I suppose if you think "Outbreak" but without the interesting and intense storyline and impressive cast, then you have "Toxic Skies". I was somewhat not properly entertained by what I witnessed on the screen as I sat through "Toxic Skies". And that results in a rating of four out of ten stars from me.

MAY CONTAIN PLOT SPOILERS A viral epidemic hits Spokane. Anne Heche plays a CDC doctor doing an investigation when she gets a tip it is caused by a chemical E901 being placed in jet fuel. The excitement nearly rages as corporations and government want secrets kept. It is great that we are drawing attention to how we are killing ourselves and the planet with chemicals. I am not sure how a virus is a chemical and survives in burnt jet fuel. They were detecting a metal signature in patients, which could not be caused by a virus which can not manufacture metals. If the problem is metal toxins, then there is no vaccine for it, you must chelate. I know that much and I am not a doctor, but I used to play one as a child. They were using level A protective clothing to visit infected patients-good. But when they doffed the suits, they were not decontaminated first and they did so in a common area where unprotected people go and then left the suits just lie around. Can we get script writers smarter than a fifth grader? Guide: No swearing, sex, nudity, or common sense.

If only I could understand Anne Heche if she did not mumble Had to turn it off after a few minutes did not know what she was saying. Sad because all other actors I could understand. Like tek- 1/10 and don't waste your time as well.

A mysterious illness has broken out, sending its victims into the hospitals convulsing and vomiting and generally looking really gross. The disease displays symptoms that lead super-doctor Tess Martin (Anne Heche) to begin thinking that the Bubonic Plague has erupted. But when a guy named Jack (James Tupper), who just so happens to Speak Truth to Power, gets on the scene, he clues Tess in a frightening conspiracy. Toxic Skies is one of those straight-to-video movies. For being a low budget film shot in Canada, this movie has great cinematography and editing. The movie had more potential if only the writing had been better. The script was too inaccurate and unrealistic. Too much effort was put into the message, and not enough into the quality of the film. The movie is slow. Toxic Skies cobbles a few elements from the movie "Outbreak", particularly why it becomes personally important for Tess to quickly discover a cure. The movie isn't as suspenseful as it could have been. The film touches on an important motivation of Tess' physician work, yet never returns to it. There just seemed like great potential for backstories, or learning more about the two main doctors in general. Anne Heche gives a solid performance as Dr. Tess Martin, but the rest of the cast is lacking of talent. Not great, but watchable....

Another one about an epidemic, this time caused by some substances (metals) spread by the jet fuel of airplanes. Anne Heche is simply constipated throughout the whole movie. The acting of the other actors is forced, nobody really believes in his role, in their lines. No stars, no nothing!

A deadly virus has struck Spokane, Washington, and "Dr. Tess Martin" (Anne Heche) is trying to find a cure. But before she can do that she needs to isolate the virus and figure out why all known antibiotics don't even slow it down. Meanwhile, a person named "Jack" (James Tupper) is trying to convince her that there is a conspiracy going on and wants her to expose the people responsible. In the meantime, patients are beginning to die and it appears that the Mayor, the Army and a CEO of a leading drug pharmaceutical are all behind the spread of the disease. At any rate, rather than reveal the rest of the story, I will just say that this is a nice little conspiracy film which should keep most viewers interested from start to finish. Anne Heche is quite cute and gives a good performance as the doctor who is both competent and caring. Likewise, James Tupper does quite well as the conspiracy fanatic who just won't give up. And although the story is a little far-fetched at times, I still enjoyed it and think that most fans of this genre will appreciate it too.
