Akshay Kumar again proved his choice of scripts and Also proved his acting skills once again, No doubt he is most versatile actor in his generation. He is simply outstanding. Movie is outstanding because of ultimate script, awesome acting performance and no doubt Modi's swaksh bharat abhiyan. Praising swakcha bharart abhiyan in entertaining manner is not a crime. Please go and watch this movie for suddha entertainment.

Why? This is utter disappointment on a base of such a hype. Poor dialogues and the lengthy plot make this piece a torture for the audience. It carries a social message in a clear way (commercialized and attempted to entertain), well thanks for it. Had it been a short-film with such a cast and a compact story line, I would have really enjoyed it.

I myself never thought of watching this movie having a weird kind of name Toilet -Ek Prem katha....but once the movie starts and shows the struggle of two lovers just for a toilet....it becomes interesting at each and every moment ...the film never looses its grip from the story and keeps on astonishing with surprises and twists....Moreover the at each and every moment there is a logic for. Normally which we don't see in some of the third grade comedy movies...Songs also beautifully inserted into the movies without feeling you bored over there even if you are not a song lover.....More than this the movies ultimate aim is to fight against the narrow minded ness of the society which thinks a toilet can not be built in Home and that will opoosite of our culture...but the things it beautifully explains to those who think like this in their own language ...Thanks Akshay and his team for choosing this subject for the benefit of society and for viewers an ultimate comedy movie

Toilet ek prem katha- The best movie of 2017 on social issue. Akshay kumar was fantastic, his acting was powerful. Bhumi pednekar is best with her acting and also best suit in this role hope her best from her incoming films. Only the songs makes the film a little bit bore. Otherwise the film is best and watchable.

So, basically the thing is the ideology of the movie is brilliant the social topic they raised is really subtle but do we really need a long 2hours 35 min. Movie for it. A short movie is enough from which they take inspiration for this movie the plot has too many loopholes rather than focusing on main part they were just running around the bush. I won't advice u to go n watch the movie in theater rest is up to you..!!

Awesome story line and perfect depiction of current society. All actors have done the role brilliantly. Must watch movie. Akshay is the only senior actor now a days who is picking up good scripts which can be related to today's world, unlike poor comedy and drama films - I hope you understand. Enjoy the movie.

Divyendu (Akshay's friend) is the best intake in comic role. 6. Anupam Kher is as usual at his best. 7. Sudhir Pandey did perfect justice to his role. 8. Script is well knitted & director has full control on the minutest details. 9. Each scene is well directed. 10. Akshay is redefining his own benchmark in each film. He has developed a perfect comic sense & timing to deliver dialogue. 11. Overall a genuine social cause has been presented in a perfect frame which penetrates deep into the hearts of each Indian, whether the person has a toilet in his home or not. 12. The best scene of Akshay in my opinion that moved the audience is, while the toilet he constructed for his wife, was ruthlessly broken by his own father. OVERALL TOILET is a perfect combination of social cause & entertainment. movie deserves TAX FREE in all over India. Akshay you are already an inspiration to millions in many aspects but after this movie, billions would love you.

Guys no doubt many people consider Social things as one of the most boring things, but best innovative thing of this movie is that when you present that in a humor manner along with Akshay as a Lead than it really make impact. For Example Every movie start with No Tobacco add but it hardly makes any impact on people life. But when a very common problem of Toilet issue in rural areas is presented in a manner of Entertainment that too with Akshay classy comedy than no one really wanna miss it. As nowadays some very big budget movies are such a piece trash that even Big Bollywood superstars didn't save because of poor writing and Direction. But here a rural area based movie with Akshay style and comic way of presentation made people think to go for movie. Though some parts of the movie motivated it as Current Govt steps towards Swatch Bharat but its not bad at all, why should it be. Story is very simple and raise questions of need of Toilet in each and every village house. Performance wise Akshay alone make this movie believable as his another perfect Common man act and same can be said about Bhumi as educated girl who stands for right thing which says education plays an vital role in making a Country developed. Best thing is Divyendu Sharma is not limited to a comedian and has good screen presence in the movie with amazing comic timing along with Akshay. Supporting cast Sudheer Pandey, Anupam Kher and specially Rajesh Sharma in his 2 scenes were too impressive. Some Paid Reviewers still try to make loopholes with this one and connecting it with politics, how shameful it is? Give this movie a try and I am sure you will not get disappointing. Has mat pagli only song i liked in this. I will rate 8/10

TOILET EK PREM KATHA REVIEW : What do you expect from a medium budget film? Comedy, humour, songs, romance etc and what If you get something extra Content like, a never tried social awareness subject like Open dedication in entertaining and then turning social movement way along, obviously it is much more than what our ticket purchase deserves and that's what has exactly happened with TEPK. Film starts on a pacy note, looks a desi regional rom com and keeps a grin smile on your face throughout 50 minutes and then Content strikes. Film entertains Again in 2nd half for another 40-50 minutes and again content strikes but loses that grip and impact created in previous 110 minutes. Akshay Kumar is in terrific form once again as an Actor as well as with his script sense. Bhumi is much more confident than her previous outing and delivers a power packed performance. All Supporting actors have been more than useful. Music is Average still video songs never makes you bore especially 'Has Mat Pagli' in 1st half is completely situational and grippy, 'Latth Mar' in 2nd half is catchy. Cinematography is excellent, watch out for those Holi celebration scenes. Editing and Direction is done by the same man so i must talk about it in details. Dear Shree Narayan Singh you were excellent as editor and director throughout 2 hours then why did you lose the tempo and impact in last 20-25 minutes. I mean there was no need to stretch the pretty much predictable climax with some Government promotional scenes. You missed a well made Classic by your fault or may be you intentionally did it just to please the specific fanbase of our government. Full marks to your Direction for first 2 hours, you worked on very small small things which i see rarely in Bollywood except Aamir or Hirani's films. But it hurts when a Potential Classic ends up being just another Good Film. Overall, TEPK is yet another Good film from Akshay Kumar, one who loves watching good films must admit that Akshay is having a Best script sense in Bollywood now days after Aamir Khan. He succeeds again to disappoint his haters and will succeed again to bring neutral people to theaters by ending recent dry spell at Box Office. As a whole, TEPK just doesn't remain film, it becomes a Social Movement and i salute makers for choosing a challenging and social script like this. I'm surely gonna give it a repeat watch, most probably with Family this time. If you're also tired of some crap films recently and want a Good film which offers you Comedy, Romance and above all a Social awareness campaign then GO FOR IT, DO NOT MISS! Comparatively (Only Akki Films), TEPK is as Good as Rustom but not up to the level of Baby and JollyLLB2. I am giving 7/10* stars, those last 20 minutes surely deducted 1* star...

Definitely worth a watch in theater.a very enjoyable movie.yes it is slow paced in second half and first half is better.a film with its heart in the right place.you will not regret.late make this movie successful so that the message in it can spread.overall a good Akshay Kumar movie.
