Minnie and Quinn are born on the same day, one minute apart. Their lives may begin together, but their worlds couldn't be more different. Years later they find themselves together again. Maybe it's time to take a chance on love.

See title. Even coming from me, who absolutely loves a romance and cheesy chick flick, this one's bad. Pretty sure it ticks off every cliche in the book! Badly.. The leads have no chemistry and frankly, I don't think the actors are very good at acting. The side stories are ridiculous and pointless filler. I watched this on a plane, when I had absolutely nothing else to do, and ended up fast forwarding little sections to get it over and done with! Not recommended. Now making up the silly word count. Now making up the silly word count. Now making up the silly word count. Now making up the silly word count.

This is a good film to watch on a dark Sunday afternoon. I didn't have the issues others had, because it was the sort of film you can "half watch". There were times you shouted at the bad "ex-boyfriend", and the main character when she was a bit of a brat, but the issue we had, was the ink spots on Quinn's shirt, when Minnie takes the pies to the workplace. It wasn't mentioned. They also appeared on his shirt when he was waiting for his date to arrive, meaning he hadn't washed (or changed) his shirt, between work and going on his date - however long that was. It was annoying because it didn't add anything to the story, was never mentioned and something the wardrobe department should have picked up on. For a suave entrepreneur, I would have thought he owned more than one white shirt!

Romantic comedies and light-hearted romances are my jam and I liked the look of the cast, but this was just awful. Most of these characters are the absolute worst people in the entire world, and I didn't feel like rooting for any of them. Romcoms are pretty formulaic and difficult to screw up, so what happened here? It got weirdly maudlin and traumatic at points, but then it was some weird slapstick at others? That didn't work at all. Even the gorgeous Lucien wasn't enough to save this one, and sadly this was not even ironically enjoyable. If I could get my two hours back, I would accept gladly.

A well made and well put together film. Great chemistry between the actors with touching and meaningful storytelling. It has shades of Kiera Knightley, Rachel MacAdams and Hilary Swank amongst others in the female lead. A very good use of a number of locations across London. This film follows in the footsteps of other great romcoms and holds up well against all of them. A number of intimate, humorous, happy, sad, touching, relevant, meaningful moments and flashbacks throughout bringing it to a beautiful ending. The bus driver scene is so funny, (I know it's not real but it really made you hope he phoned Roger).

Okay this is your typical English Rom Com, with a few tears along the way. The supporting characters are pretty annoying, the two leads carry the film well. There are some big names in the cast, Keala Settle, John Hannah even Anita Dobson pops.up. London as ever looks great on camera, The film is under 2 hours and it went pretty quickly. Well worth a watch, if you like a feel good film. Yes British films are cliche-ridden, some people will cringe at dome of the scenes. This is on Netflix so nothing extra to watch abd saves going to the cinema in the cold dark night. Like I said well worth a watch.

Terrible. Main character spends the whole time trying to act like Keira Knightley, even using some very similar lines from Love Actually (re: the pie) and it just seems like a complete rip off of Richard Curtis' brilliant films such as Notting Hill, Bridget Jones, etc. We invested too much time to turn it off halfway through so carried on an endured it all, but we just couldn't get past the Kiera wannabe and the terrible acting. Lucian Laviscount was ok, too good for this film. Disappointed as it sounded like a good film. And surprised there haven't been court cases against it for blatantly ripping off more successful movies!

Mothers meet at birth, boy and girl meet throughout their lives without realising it. Add in an ugly short boyfriend who is calling out to be dumped, a couple of useless coworkers that cost you your business, a best friend who makes unnecessary sacrifices, a mother who thinks it's all her fault, another mother who is agoraphobic, a dad with a odd hobby ( it's clocks this time), a mention of sleepless in Seattle, a rush across london in pyjamas to meet at midnight, and there you have it. I entertained myself by counting the number of times the actress pulled faces like Ronnie from Eastenders. A pointless little film not worth wasting time over, unless you're 12. Don't bother is my advice.

It feels like the movie lasts the whole year! Minnie is an insufferable brat that believes her life is just a strike of bad luck, until she meets a guy who was born exactly the same day as her and may have stolen her luck. That is the premise of a potentially interesting romantic comedy, but then starts to go sooo slow and nothing seems to happen The parents characters are good actors but their storylines are not developed at all, you never really understand what was their point in the story. I still don't know if it was a comedy or a drama but in any case it was a bad movie. Minnie is not a relatable character is clumsy and annoying and you feel like Quinn is actually too good for her.
