To call this piece of hilariously over-the top ludicrous propaganda a documentary is like calling Jersey Shore a gritty reality about today's youth. This poor man's Micheal Moore attempt at a hip quirky doc is weighed down by the one-sided, selective history and a rolodex full of Serb talking heads who all explain how the poor Serbs, despite their noble intentions, became victims of the treacherous Americans and those monsters at the UN. Everyone here appears to be a victim. They somehow skim all the 90s wars THEY started, not to mention the prison camps, death camps and rape camps that have all been well documented. This is a piece of pure Serbian propaganda that they hope will lift the burden of being Europe's bloodthirstiest nation of the past 60 years. If you want a laugh, check it out. But if you expect to learn something, look elsewhere.

This is the biggest piece of crap I have seen about the conflict in former Yugoslavia! Hey, according to this Serbs did not kill hundreds of thousands of civilians in Bosnia and Croatia. According to this rubbish documentary Serbs are heroes, and Bosnians and Croatians are the bad guys, along the Americans who intervened AFTER Serbs killed and destroyed a lot of Croatia and most of Bosnia. What is the point of this documentary, viewers might ask them selves; what is the point of this misinterpretation of history? What the hell, for crying out loud? Why would somebody produce such a piece of crap? For what purpose? The answer is bluntly simple; the Serbs are trying, very poorly indeed, to wash their bloody hands. I am sorry guys but this lame attempt just fails like every attempt that came from your Serbo-Goebbels kitchen... You guys are guilt as it gets. Grow some balls, look yourself in the mirror and admit it. You are the sole responsible for the blood and gore of the Balkans. You made the mess and you were punished. Stop wining and deal with it. There could be some dignity in saying the truth, Germans pulled it out when they admitted that they were the culprits of the II WW horrors, at least they are honest ones. People who appreciate this collection of denials are either seriously uninformed or Serbian nationalists refusing to admit the obvious. There is no such thing as Great Serbia, there never was, there never will be. Snap out of it and start living in the 21. century. Jeeez. There is no world wide antiserbian conspiracy, no body wants to destroy you, you were never important. The whole Balkan area was never important, get that in your thick heads. The only real thing about you, the thing you cannot run away from, are your bloody hands. Lying and hiding them will do you no good. If you want some unbiased view on the fall of, once an important state of Yugoslavia, take a look at BBC's The Death of Yugoslavia. Do not waste time on this atrocity.

The person that made this movie is either very evil or very uninformed. This is an insult to all the people that survived the war. And they know what a big lie this is! I was there, I was a child and they took my childhood, they took my family members, and now they want to take the truth. I hate no one, and everyone knows in a war is nothing just black or just white, every side had it's wrong doings, but this film isn't saying that. This film is trying to erase the guilt of Serbia and put it on others. For everyone who doesn't know the facts, here is a fact that will make everything much clearer and no one (Croate, Muslim or Serb) can say it's not true: The Serbian army fought on Croatian and Bosnian ground. The war happened in Croatia and Bosnia. Were there Croatian and Bosnian soldiers fighting on Serbian ground? No! Was there war on Serbian ground? No! Nationalism is never good, but truth isn't nationalism, and the truth should not be forgotten. So, don't let us forget! Don't allow them to take the truth and the past from us!

This is a classical example of white propaganda. Dr. Goebels can be satisfied and calm. Pupils are here around us. How to justify war crime and Neandhertalism of Serbian government , nationalists and orthodox clergy? Skip this ,dear spectator, and keep sanity and humanity. Stay normal human being with average dose of empathy!This state lives in a fog of the early 19th century thinking to a value system of so called nation states primitivism is true at the end of the 20th century. They never realized that all that is supranational well, including the "offending" Prince Meternich's, Bach's absolutism, Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Ottoman empire, and all that is bad and the national human standpoint untenable. From the position of the savage collective can not see the wood in the forest. Amen!

This so called "documentary" is the worst propaganda bullshit I ever saw. There are several so stupid sentences like: "Serbs dint won't to massacre 7000 Muslim civilians in Srebrenica: Muslims civilians tricked them to do so...." It is supported from Serb national television (I believe that "support" means "paid"). So you have to look at some of their materials from Milosevic regime era you will have sense not to look any of their material. If you have any sense at all you will never watch this. Marinko

Rarely have I seen such a shameless display of ignorance. A whole movie based on lies and myths, featuring such repulsive human beings like Srdja Trifkovic (who has close ties to CONVICTED WAR CRIMINALS). The Canadian Institute for the Research of Genocide has stated that that Trifkovic is promoting hatred, antisemitism and islamophobia. But in this "documentary", he is an expert commentator. This documentary is as objective as "The Eternal Jew", and don't believe any of the positive reviews, they're all fake. In reality no one watches this piece of garbage, no one talks about it, it's just a movie by an idiot, for idiots.

But how come it has such a high rating? Well the same way many silly amateurish "documentaries" have: obviously the people behind this piece of garbage have created a bunch of accounts here on IMDb to give their little project a high rating. Not the first time this has happened. This is awful, the typical radical Serbian conspiracy theories about some mystical powers creating the war, because of course it wasn't the lunatics on the streets with their fascist WWII-insignia and machine guns, shouting "We're gonna butcher these guys and then those guys and then...". Of course not. No way, it was the west, the Jews, the EU, the Americans... "it's not my fault I'm killing my neighbor and burning down his house, it is the FREEMASONS who are making me do it!" Basically, this is what these people are trying to say. But those of us who've actually seen the war "live", and not from afar, in some cozy little apartment in freaking CANADA, we know the reasons behind this war. Yes, the leaders misled the public, yes the media was in on it, yes there were probably foreign interests involved (why wouldn't there be? That's why they're called "foreign interests"). But the reasons behind the war were simple, it was just like any other war: people robbing people, people raping people, it was the triumph of the bastards on all sides, as any other war. No need to complicate the matter further. Bastards with guns. Now stop plagiarizing Zeitgeist, shut up and go back to school.

Considering this Documentary was written by a boy they call the Serbian Michael Moore and just about everybody involved is Serbian you can be sure you get a 1 sided view point. Taking into account the Serbian view of the civil war that they did nothing but defend them selves I think most people can judge for them selves how accurate and honest this Doco is. I believe history needs to be rewritten in some departments but I would not be letting Serbia rewrite the history of the Balkans 1990's civil War !! The only place this Documentary was really seen with interest was Serbia & Russia with a token showing in England and the writer/Directors second home Canada. Other then those few countries where the makers of this Docu/Drama had influence this Documentary was not taken seriously. It is no surprise most of the Docu/Drama was centered around Kosovo with Kosovo still a major sore point with the Serbs. Not a Documentary I would recommend more like Propaganda then a honest Documentary.
