The War of the Worlds 2021

Wow..the worst. I hung in for bout 25 minutes. Actors could and should have been replaced by monkeys. The military general is a mess. He would be thrown out of any real military unit. The rest of the cast is laughable. Was hoping to see candy from two and a half men but could not take anymore. Aliens send only one ship even though someone said there was nine ships only one lands in a park and destroys everything after the stupid humans get close with weapons drawn. Saw only one alien come out the door for some reason? Now we got a forest fire going and our troops are scrambling for their lives. Turned it off really doubt if i missed much.

This is not a professional film. Is created by students. Ultra low budget nonsense with very bad CGI extremely bad acting and it's not worth the time. I am finished with anything to do with war of the worlds after watching this film. The PlayStation 1 video game has more atmosphere than this does, nothing is believable the acting is terribly amateur, the special effects leave so much to be desired and the plot does not engage with the viewer. I still have 150 characters to go on this review so I will say rubbish rubbish rubbish nonsense rubbish Hunter garbage do not waste your time watching this film.

I didn't really care to remember the names of any of the characters so do go ahead and laugh when I say 'the lady' or whatever. I probably should have seen it coming when I didn't see any major movie production companies at the start of the movie. But it just went downhill from there. About ten minutes in it was just talk, talk and bloody talk. I actually came on here to look at the reviews and... well. I guess that explains it. One and a half minutes and I only really watched about fifteen of it. It looked like it was filmed in someone's back yard. The CGI was terrible and the story made no sense. The characters that were introduced were somehow 'connected'? The lady in the hospital plays absolutely no part in the rest of the movie but wait.... THAT'S MY UNCLE? There's that guy that drives the airliner into the alien tripod only to be shot down and eaten. The alien literally picks the guy up and eats him like a snickers bar! You can even hear the guts sound as if the lady in the shot was right next to him. Listening to that... mmm. Spaghetti. My total highlight from the whole movie would probably have been at the end when the lady killed the alien with a spray bottle. A SPRAY BOTTLE!? I'm sad. Where's the action from the first movie? The blood and guts. Realistic shooting effects, Rockets?? I'm going to resound another users hubris here. Hollywood, why is it that only USA gets targeted by alien incursions and other disastrous events? There are other contries out there too ya know!?

Where do I begin? This is possibly the worst movie I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of movies. The acting is just awful and the special effects look like they were made by a 10 year old using an iPhone 2. The plot is even worse! The only way to get through it, I'm not sure why you would want to watch the entire movie, is to keep fast fowarding just to see the ending and save the rest of your day. It is honestly a shame how this movie absolutely destroys a classic story. The actors in this movie should all be on the unemployment line and the director should be forced to move out of the country.

I laughed all the way through this and then I laughed at the reviews! Mark Ruffalo's bit had me in tears by the end. I wish I would have seen it when it came out, I could have used a laugh in 2021. Regardless, it is eight minutes well spent. Don't be deterred by the "ratings" left by those completely missing the point or those failing to understand parody. This was hilarious from start to finish. It hits many of the far right talking points and if you have ever been to the websites this short is satirizing you might be hard pressed to distinguish the film from actual content found on several. Thank you to everyone involved in this production.

Aside from horrific acting and a plot that is really little more than a collection of words a bunch of monkeys managed to bang out on a keyboard, the idea that two astronomers are not only experts in their field, but also experts in virology and weapons-grade lasers. Even more amazing is that these astronomers reconfigured their mountain-top telescope to fire the lasers and destroy the alien ships - something none of the worlds' military could do. I want that telescope! Like another person who posted about this movie, I kept my thumb on the fast-forward. While I didn't spend any money to watch this, I did lose about 45 minutes of my afternoon.

Some out of work actors banded together to make a film. I think one of the "actors" has a relative who makes amateur gaming CGI in their parent's basement as a hobby between shifts as a food distribution executive (pizza delivery). I will not be writing any spoilers in this review... I wish I could, but I'm still looking for an online explanation video to find out whether this was a comedy, romcom, or a wildlife documentary filmed in a farmyard ? I think all those involved in making this, er... film, must've had great fun doing it... obviously, they were not taking it too seriously (as can be witnessed by the actors desperately trying not to laugh at their own scripts)

No character building. So poor production value and low budget that nothing is ever shown on screens, yet they have incredibly accurate and instant data retrieval and analysis of data about everything that's happening in real time. And storywise it's so full of holes that it makes Swiss cheese look like a Gouda! Also, what's this thing that every invasion from space will automatically target USA alone as if the US is the center of the world, and no other countries exists on this planet? Some hubris you got over there in Hollywood. :P This movie is as bad as Asteroid and all the other D-movies that follow A-movie releases. ;)

The absolute worst movie ever. The actors are terrible, the plot is terrible.. If you have the slightest kind of knowledge, you will find it extremely annoying to see Soviet tanks from World War 2 in the film next to an M1 Abraham tank.. The soldiers in the film are wearing US flags each shoulder, however, it is reversed on the other. Everything is saved away. Costumes, Cgi EVERYTHING! The best thing about the film is its presentation.. The title and the picture are clearly better and more exciting than the 2 hours long and hard hours the film takes. If it could get minus 10 stars, it would have. Incomprehensibly a film similar to a Bollywood produced action film can be on Prime Video or even with Amazon in the back.

It's so bad that it's a must see. The "science" part is just.. amazing! The plot is thinner than water and the special effects, omg.. just watch it!!
