It wasn't groundbreaking but it was a solid drama, I think the last quater was a little daft but overall I thought it was decent People are complaining about how are they supposed to feel empathy? You don't always have to. You can dislike the main leads character, although as the story goes on, you do realise the incident was more complex. Some of thr reviews feel lole they didn't watch it all. If you like slow burn dramas, I'd definitely give it a watch.

I strongly recommend, it is slow burning and Sandra Bullock as always plays beautifully. It feels very real and I liked the way they made Bullock unlikable and violent when in reality she sacrificed herself to protect her sister. I didn't guess, usually I do, so that was a bonus for me.

Ruth Slater shot a police officer in cold blood, and she spent 20 yrs in prison. She is being released on parole for good behavior. On the outside, everywhere Ruth goes she is a Cop Killer. That's it. That's her label. Katie is a young college student studying piano performance. Katie has trouble sleeping, some emotional problems, and can't shake memories of a woman she doesn't know. Katie was adopted when she was 5 yrs old. Ruth is Katie's older sister, who raised her until she was 5 yrs old. This role was quite the departure for Bullock, but she delivered (not really a surprise,, just different). Add to that a really good cast including D'Nofrio, Davis, and Bernthal,, Netflix did really good with this one. I'd give it a 6.8 rating.

Very Interesting Film 20 YEARS FOR MURDER OF A POLICE OFFICER. Hmm that sucks pretty BAD what sucks even more. You must WATCH the FILM to FIND out WHO REALLY PULLED THAT TRIGGER TO THE GUN TO KILL THAT COP. Older SISTER or 5 YEAR OLD SISTER??????? Plus WHO are the STILL BAD ONES. In my EYES SANDRA BULLOCKS PERFORMANCE IN YEARS. She was Fantastic in this Film. You think that she really was in PRISON she was that good in this Film. A must watch Film at the ending you will be BLOWN AWAY of what really happened.
