Narattion, storytelling, connection build up are not edited properly. Music choice is awkard, visuals are good but contains same trend of animation. One interest, if you jump the story from milky way back to mars , then again go to other areas.

It is a simple documentary with some interesting facts , not very in depth but is quite entertaining for people new into space stuff.

The cinematography is out of this world... literally! But infortanately it's not very detailed. But com on, this is still space we're talking about! If you have no idea of where are we at, then i guess this will be fairly informative!

What an impeccable universe we are all living in. We all were created here and will all die in this universe. It just so happens that we, on this Planet - Earth, have been created in a time to be able to look up at the night sky and see, even without a telescope, our universe to all ends of life. We have watched the birth, life and death of stars. Captured every existence possible on the big screen, so far. We were born in a time of space travel. We have watched seasons change our complete habitats. We are still adapting to our planet's climate. We are all here, one this one blue rock, circulating our giant star, with a moon to bring us the night. We are all here, in our home solar system, on a perfectly harmonized world, being able to see, hear, smell, taste and touch all of life created here. We have built technology to bring us to far out reaches we will never physically visit, but to study and witness their transformations of their life created in its own planetary nebula. We have an atmosphere to protect and harvest life. We have oceans full of underwater reefs and impeccable creatures. We have forests grown from the rains above, derived from volcanic lands to lift into the skies. We have frozen seas of glacial magnitude to still form life. We have all we can ever imagine here on our home planet. What a perfectly balanced world for every possible species, every possible entity, every possible climate and every possible creation of life. There is nothing particularly in-depth or complex related here, but it's presented in a way which might pique the interest of curious children and young teens.

"The Search for Life in Space" is an American documentary short film from 2016 that runs for slightly over half an hour and was directed by Steve Amezdroz, a man you would not necessarily expect to be part of this project if you take a look at some f his older credits and the departments he worked in. Narrator is Malcolm MacDowell. The subject becomes pretty obvious in the title, so I don't need to say too much about that. If you care about the likes of astronomy and space exploration in detail, this is a good watch for you, but I personally feel that it is far away from the level where it will really create such an interest in you. I must say that I was also underwhelmed by the narration at times, maybe also because of how it was written, and also by some of the interviewees. There weren't many that I would have missed had they not been included as part of this project. Visually, it is a really good film for our times, there is no denying, but that alone just won't cut the cake. So as a whole, I am kinda glad, it was this short because the forgettable moments were far more frequent to me than the memorable ones and I must say that unless you care about the film, the right choice here is to skip the watch. Not recommended.

But still it have beautiful images. It's remarkable to think how much we have progressed in just last 100 years.
