This film establishes a narrative of truth superimposed over the contemptuous issues and Jordan Peterson's rise as a cultural icon. The filmmakers found key elements of Peterson's rise as an intellectual thinker and remained dedicated to showing the audience the complexity of Jordan Peterson as a human being. Those for and against Peterson are given a reasonable platform to express their views without taking things out of context. It would be surprising for a rational individual to walk away from this documentary not having their opinions on Peterson fundamentally altered and even his most divisive critics should understand Peterson as a compassionate individual with a genuine desire to enhance society at the level of the individual. His net positive impact on society is remarkable, but that is not say he is a man without fault. The documentary shows you that even the good doctor would admit this, but his humility captures you in a warm way.

I watched this recently. It was a good documentary in its unbiasedness. That said, I was kind of disappointed at how unremarkable Jordan b Peterson is, it turns out.
There are some things that Jordan b Peterson says that I agree with and admire. Like, for example, his pleading with people be their own person as opposed to mindlessly adhering to the extreme rhetoric of whatever political party you find yourself under the spell of.
But it turns out he was only briefly famous because of some assertion regarding free speech he made one day which just so happened to toss trans people under the bus in the example he was using, so he became very divisive and all of the anti-trans people, under their usual guise of promoting free speech, hurried to his side.
And then it seemed like he didn't quite know how to handle that Fame. But it did I guess bring some attention to some of the good points he has, unfortunately his Fame also gave a lot of voice and power to White supremacists and transphobic individuals, which is something he can also be seen struggling to wrap his mind around.
And, by the way, my thoughts on the inciting incident that kicked off his brief Fame is this: his worries about how misgendering a trans person being made to be classified as a hate crime, that if that happened would ultimately result in fascism thriving in Canada, is a garden variety slippery slope fallacy.
And the fact that he capped off his argument by really just complaining intensely that he will never never use a person's desired pronouns for any reason, I think was detrimental to his assertion that his objections were solely regarding free speech.

However constantly being bombarded with this minute minority with severe mental illnesses as though they are in the majority or even common is ridiculous! This documentary seems to show the ludicrousness of the the lefts support of mentally ill people even to the point where they actually support their delusions! Complete insanity.

This documentary is quite a bit like Jordan Peterson himself; it is nuanced, insightful, and at its most flawed moments, repetitive. Entering into Peterson's private and personal world reveals a gruffness and vulnerability that is endearing. The film doesn't pick sides, but presents individual opinions, objections, and plaudits, and in doing so deftly captures the ethos of the Canadian professor.

The only one who can save the tradition. The one who can teach courage.

I am a very big fan of Jordan Peterson and I wanted to like this documentary or at least make me think. It has nothing new to offer, just go watch one if his interviews, or one of his lectures and it's time better spent. It really has nothing controversial or anything his fans or haters don't already know so to me it was a waste of time.

I found this movie to be insightful, challenging, inspiring, flawed and authentic like most things involving JBP.

All through the documentary, director brought people talking against him but not for him.
The impact and changes he made on millions is only superficially touched.
Film is subtly messaging that he is wrong to have made his stand which is sad.
It had completely ignored the mass intellectual self deprecating attacks on Jordan by media, journalists, activists and critiques.
I feel like the documenter hated Jordan and wanted to show what he/she/them feels like instead of presenting an unbiassed picture

I liked the movie as it showed a balanced picture of the man and the issues going on today in our current polarizing culture. What I find appalling is that allows the movie to show Hitler and Trump as being stars in the show, which is absolutely ridiculous and misleading.
