The Rebound

Justin Bartha finally bags a lead role and what's better than teaming up with the ever green Catherine Zeta Jones Douglas. A decent drama comedy and romance with unexpected dialogs - reflection of reality is a bit scary. You don't get a lot of movies like this one these days. Every time you see something close to reality, you get grossed out or end up calling it "weird" and the romantic parts from this movie is nicely done as well. With a wide range of cast including ART GARFUNKEL have all done a great job. Highly recommended! I'm very happy for talented Justin Bartha as I've been waiting to see him in movies that offer him good roles and more screen time.

This is probably one of the most slept on rom com I have seen. It's fantastic and amazing that in a 1 hour 30 minutes movie, so much story Hamlisch told ad you just have to keep your eyes glued to the last minute..

Its a nice movie .... Very predictable (like all other love stories ) but nicely presented .... Though i almost always knew what was going to happen next , but something in me wanted to see more and more .... Actors fit in their roles perfectly .... The way the story moves u wont get bored at any moment .... The reason m not rating it higher because i felt as if the director has rushed it towards the end .... As if he was in a hurry to finish the movie .... I have seen it twice in past one week and i wont mind seeing it again .... Worth watching movie ....If u like love stories you'll definitely like this one

I am not a fan of romantic comedies in general, but this one I thoroughly enjoyed. Although a little predictable at times (like most romantic comedies), it is well thought out and the acting , especially Justin Bartha, is spot on. The story is really simple, but effective. It had me laughing out loud a couple of times and it left me with a warm feeling at the end. The movie felt real, but at the same time didn't take itself too seriously... In short, I liked it! The only real problem I had with the movie was the very long soppy montage at the end of the where the characters find themselves... that could have been handled better. Having said that, it is still very entertaining!

Nice engrossing premise/film, but when she is 40 and he 14 years younger, how will it end....well.....usual Hollywood style, they didn't have a good idea, and so it let the whole film down. Catherine is very attractive in this, and you want to see that she can be with the younger man, but when his parents disapprove of her, and then at the end without explanation approve, it just made it a little odd. Compared to The Proposal and Killers (does Ashton have a personality?), it was a good film, as you kind of expect a let down ending on these sorts of films.

i kinda like the movie...because i like Catherine and i am into romantic movies....but it was a little boring....the plot is a middle aged woman Catherine is divorced and bumped into a young guy who is her baby sitter and fall in love ...on the other side the young guy Justin is also divorced but things with them did not work out so well and they get parted and reunites like many movies...........coming to the roles Catherine is amazing as always and Justin is good at his character but the romance between them is not so good....i mean i liked it but there is something missing....i hope it has more to it....finally i would say its not a bad movie for once to watch.........

Every second with Her is a treasure. With this very serious script, her charm moves the stars and speeds up the earth.

this was a good movie..but it could of been a lot better. first of all, it should not have an "R" rating; it should be rated PG-13. there is NOWHERE near enough sexual content to merit an "R" rating, and that is one of my biggest issues with this movie. you cant have a romantic movie rated R without have multiple sex scenes init. next, the movie doesn't ever really evolve into a true romantic movie, (he never moves in with her), and the whole movie was them being friends, but not lovers. second, the movie was rather short, especially for a romantic love story, only about 90 min, and i felt as though it should of been at least a 2 hour movie. finally, the last 20 minutes of the movie are stupid and should not of been in the movie. the last 20 minutes should of been with their relationship progessing and some sex scenes. bottomline, it was a pretty good movie, but it was not great...wasn't long enough, not enough sex and the movie never really hits a climax.
