Storyline: Fast pace movie in 2 hours, undercover police in police unit. Interesting how the movie brings you to the perspective of certain police. Excellent storyline.

Wanted to like this crime drama but subdued plot and underdeveloped characters were quite inevitable. Lee Kyu-man actually brought riveting ethical question in perplexing narrative. Anyhow Woo-sik as honest rookie cop got our sympathy to find some justice.

Yet another awesome movie to come out of South Korea. Good cast and great acting all round with this crime drama. Plenty of illegal goings on and corruption throughout with a fast pace to boot. I won't give anything away in my review but i'm hoping for a second movie. Definitely a must watch for South Korean movie fans.

I enjoyed both Choi Woo-sik (Parasite) and Cho Jin-woong (The Handmaiden) past movies and TV series. It's exciting to see their intense chemistry in this unstoppable crime drama. Full of twists and stylish action sequences.

Parasite's Woo-sik Choi is rookie cop Choi Min-Jae. He has principles unlike his boss Park Gang-Yoon, the chief of an investigation team who may have an unrivaled arrest record but has no problem using corrupt methods. Can these two cops co-exist and tackle a case that could destroy their entire department? Based on the Japanese novel Blood of the Policeman by Joh Sasaki, this is currently the fourth biggest movie to be released in South Korea this year. Choi Min-jae is a third generation police officer who dreams of serving the law in the same way that his grandfather and late father did. In order to receive a secret document about his father, he accepts a mission from internal affairs to monitor Park Gang-Yoon. Par wants to capture Na-young Bin (Kwon Yul), a CEO supplying drugs to the elite and a man whose cash and connections have kept him out of prison three times. To make things worse, he rubs it in Park's face, who wants to bring him in no matter what. I've never seen a Korean cop film before. I love that the world has brought us closer so that we can experience one another's cultures and see how we are the same and how we're also different. The Policeman's Lineage is directed by Kyu-maan Lee (Wide Awake) and written by Bae Young-Ik.

The story is about a police man named Min jae who is appointed to watch over another police man's (Park) activity which are thought to be illegal. For investing Min Jae joined the team of Park and have been working for him while collecting information against him. Will Min Jae be able to disclose Park's illegal activity? It might contain some spoilers, The movie is dragged a bit. It could have been better if their chemistry is shown more. If Min Jae past was shown before, it will help audience to understand more. They will understand the concept, why Min wants to be a honest cop? Who's behind his father's murder?
