History is written by those who are brave enough to speak it, whether true or false is up to the people who learn it to decide.
This movie is an unexplored telling based on unproven accounts given by some who may be telling their truth or may be completely full of crap. It does NOT claim Oj's innocence contrary to what many reviews say. It does however give a slightly different take on what some believe to be true. Will it change the popular opinion? No.
What it is, is a fictional telling of a tragedy INSPIRED by true events in a "What if?" scenario based on an alternative account. Every "Based on/Inspired by" movie is an exploitation of the truth however no historical movie can ever be 100% truth or fact because no persons account can ever be 100% accurate and every persons first hand account will always be a biased retelling of their own "facts"
That being said I found the movie to be interesting and thought provoking.
I found it entertaining and thought all involved did their best to give an honest performance in what they had to know would be a highly criticized movie.
Does this movie deserve 10 stars? maybe, maybe not. Does it merit the negative response it has received? absolutely not.
The movie industry is fickle at best and it does not go unnoticed that some get away with fabricating truth and twisting plots to suit their own narratives while others are demonized for it. Many popular movie makers have taken similar liberties with the retelling of a story to great acclaim while others are told they have no right to do the same.
I have read many other reviews on this movie after watching it and truly believe many of those "reviewers" must not have watched the movie as a whole or are simply are vomiting up a negative response because they are against the subject matter.
Not everyone will like this movie, everyone's tastes are different but if you open your mind and watch this movie with the knowledge that it is not 100% fact but a story of "What if?" written by Michael Arter and directed by Dan Farrands as a cinema nod to the horror movies we all love, then like me you might find this movie interesting, thought provoking and entertaining.
If Agnes Bruckner's portrayal of Kris Jenner is even remotely accurate to the real Kris Jenner, then as a person who does not keep up with the Kardashian's I have a whole new respect for her as a person and Agnes Bruckner deserves a giant pat on the back. I may actually give the show a chance.

Ok, so I will try to keep this short and to the point.
This film tries hard to take it self seriously but fails on so many levels. The story is told from the perspectives of NBS (not sure how this is possible seeing as she was murdered) and some fantasy about an alternative explanation regarding the true killer. (?)
The narrative is so weak and far reaching that you are asked to suspend belief and actually consider this as the actual "true story" of the horrible murders. Despite a few noteworthy names in this stinker (the reappearance of Nick Stahl, to name one) nothing could have helped the awful film.
Such rubbish only serves to diminishe the terrible truth about, what many consider, one of the most notorious murders in American history. Everyone on the planet knows who committed the crime. The attempt to offer up an alternative perspective is sad and desperate.
Don't waste your time.

Well, this is the third movie of this director "inspired on true events" that is far from all factual recolections.
I was warned but I had decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, who knows? it could be good or at least could have technical aspects that could save the movie. It haven't none. It wasn't good... at all. It doesn't have technical values to save this from the pile of stink it is. And I am so sorry for all people who worked on it behind cameras (except the director) they were doing their job to put food on their tables.
How Suvari, Stahl and Manning are in a trash like this? They are even o over or under acted on this, like they were just waiting to take the money for their work and go away (and maybe die from boredom)
I strongly believe that this director is very keen of fan fiction and if he could just write this garbage with no name or relations on real events, maybe and just maybe this could work.
Taking direction on crazy theories and dumb ideas doesn't plant a doubt on the case.
This man is trying to make believe that victims were to fault on their death (like he did on his take on Sharon Tate).
If there could be a doubt to make feel O.J is innocent it's not in this garbage of a pseudo fan fiction movie.
I don't usually do bad reviews, but this deserved my full attention.
I haven't hated a movie so bad as I do hate this one.
ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

OK, first the only way to watch this movie is fast forward. Skip the parts of unsubstantiated script writing. Suspend your ability to actually think logically and get either really drunk or stoned. Otherwise you will be left going completely and totally bonkers.
The actors are bad, the script is worst and the whole premise is trash. Not one thread of actual fact-based evidence is presented.
A terrible was of both my time and the productions companies money.
Even O.J. should be ashamed of this make believe.

Yes. It's that bad. Mena Suvari is the Exec Producer for this movie and I wonder where she received funding. This movie is not even worthy of a Lifetime showing. Terrible story, Terrible script, Terrible acting, and Terrible decision of mine to watch. I should have known better. Mena hasn't been in a good movie since American Beauty and it's amazing she's still around.

I noticed the 1/10 brigade are out again, this film isn't that bad. I know it's only a glorified TV movie but I've seen a lot worse. Whether people believe it is another matter, everybody saw what happened on the TV with the murder and the OJ Simpson circus.
If this is how they were they deserved each other, as for the police we know how hapless they are.
Treat it as Channel Five afternoon matinee with tea and scones and you'll be fine.

This crap is obviously backed somewhere down the line by OJ. That murderer got away with the crime of the century. One question...why did he run? Only guilty people run from the law. He did it, and blaming this murder on the Casanova killer is like saying Jeffery Dahmer didn't eat people.... Pure fiction. If you watch it as fiction then fine. But don't be naïve and think this is anywhere near the truth. I feel for the Simpson, and Goldman families to have to deal with this BS again and again and again.

Long Live O.J.!!! The great man is innocent, and was only sent to prison on trumped up charges to "get back" at him for "getting off." The anti-Black INjustice system of ameriKKKa worked correctly for us at the time of his acquittal. The truth has finally been told. People need to stop playing the victim, pulling the race card and pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Don't like it? Go back to the Caucasus Mountains.
