If The Asylum made a heist movie, this would be it. That should tell you everything you need to know.

In the main, cardboard characters collide with wooden acting.
That said, Henry Rollins demonstrates that he can overcome the obstacle of ropey material and still deliver a decent performance. What a shame he don't recognise ropey material in the first instance. Dressed like an undertaker, he does a capable job of playing the creepy, serial killer. Giving the best performance of all he elevates himself above cliché.
The story doesn't really hold together. In places, purpose-wise some of the characters' actions don't make any sense. They place themselves in harm's way to achieve no, apparently, useful goal. Both the good guys and the bad guys seem to be trying to trip themselves up in places.
A good heist, in the movies at least, should be tight and methodical, think Heat (1995). They get in, get rich and get away. Most robbbers don't want to run into the police and get caught. Presumably. These guys take all day. There is no sense of impending deadline, so there's no tension.
Conflict be shouldn't delivered in a way that makes characters unsympathetic. The robbers swear and gesticulate at one other too often to seem mature enough to be professional. Acting like juvenile delinquents makes them even more unsympathetic. This carry-on produces a sense of conflict but an irksome one.
I could go on but it's too depressing.
Overall, this lacks sympathetic characters and, because you cannot care about any of the characters, any real tension. It's slow, clumsy and clichéd. Television does it better.

I had a good time watching this film. All one needs to do is go into it with the right attitude. I think it's destined to be a camp classic. I read all the bad reviews and I think they are trying to compare with David Cronenberg or Quentin Tarantino type high budget, horror thrillers. The plot and story line moves along quite nicely and keeps you waiting for things to unfold while getting some gory laughs along the way. The idea of mixing a serial killer with bank robbers is intriguing and creative. It's not a $100 million dollar budget film and I think they did a darn good and entertaining job with the $10 million they had. Good entertainment.

I wish i could give negative stars , the whole movie was bad and weak , casting so poor , stunts was like school play , i think they didn't spend a dime on this movie . how i wish i could reverse back my wasted time .it was like Bollywood movies , action seen were so weak the shootings were so unnatural.they could use some help from cop advisers as some cops involved in this movie they looked like some idiots.i don't know if they use a writer for this movie or they start shooting without any script and whole idea was a line length script .it was like a bunch of friends turn on the handy cam and started to film .characters were so unreal and unbelievable.

Evil upon evil in a bank robbery gone very wrong. Director: Mike Mendez and Writer: Guy Stevenson offer up a good mix of tension, suspense, horror, and mystery in a setting that slowly becomes a bloody mess! The bank robbers are out witted by a more sinister and conniving force they did not plan on in their well planned out bank heist.
I read some of the other reviews here and I disagree with their low rating and opinions. This may be a low budget movie but I found the plot contagious and the suspense thrilling. Yes it's bloody and full of gore but what horror movie would be a horror movie without blood and gore? In this story you also have police and a swat team not knowing exactly what is happening in the bank and the police don't realize how they are actually helping the evil within the bank and outside the bank.
This budget flick isn't for everyone. But often cheap and horror can turn out to be an entertaining story.

Look... so many of the other reviews slam this movie so hard, it's as if they were strapped down and forced to watch it. I doubt that was the case, so don't be so butt-hurt.
The reason anyone watches flicks like these is simple: you have some time to kill and you are looking to be entertained. You know these movies are not going to be Oscar material, so don't climb up on your high-horse to condemn it.
You were actually expecting a serious heist movie? shame on you. (plus, this movie isn't really about the heist at all).
You were actually expecting a serious movie of any kind? you must be new to watching movies. Stop writing reviews and log a few thousand movie hours under your belt first. Then come back and try again...
There are always some givens when you watch these movies:
1) the acting, by and large, will be sub-par at best for at least 99% of the actors (if not all). Don't be so indignant, you sound ignorant.
2) the plot and story will be pretty thin and weak, full of holes, and even nonsensical. more to the point, it's usually by design, as these folks know going in when they roll cameras... it's entertainment, not a holocaust documentary. lighten up.
I watched the trailer for this movie, saw Henry Rollins was going to play a serial killer, and I was hooked. I expected fun and schlock, and lo and behold, I got what I came for.
Hank has been doing a bang-up job in his film roles lately, and I absolutely love every minute of it. The man deserves bigger and better roles, but alas, Hollywood always seems to relegate him to bit parts. The man gives his all, and he earns every single accolade thrown his way (and deserves much more).
So, to sum up:
It's a fun, B-movie with Henry Rollins playing a die-hard serial killer.
Pop some popcorn, grab a soda, and just chill. Enjoy it for what it is.

I have just finished sitting through what i assume is the worst movie to come out in the last 6 years. The plot twists are heinous, the acting is worse than having a ruptured spleen and that woman is definitely not Australian.
I have seen a few heist style movies and this by far the worst. The movie is all together pointless, the plot is easy too follow but the acting is so poor it's hard to remember what was going on. Also, might i add that none of this movie made sense. After watching it you're just left baffled as to why this was even shown in cinemas. I would have sat down and written a proper review but I've already wasted more than enough time on this movie. I am not being overly harsh, this movie is actually terrible. If you are intentionally having a "horrible movie night" with the lads I suggest you add this to the list. It's full of cliché crap that doesn't follow the plot and just bleh, I'm done.
1/10 wouldn't recommend.

Heat, Heist, Ocean's 11, The Score. Some great heist movies. Then there's "The Last Heist", which has Henry Rollins in it. You'd think that a man who's so opinionated, is a recognized actor, musician, man of thought would make sure what he's starring in is a decent film. Unfortunately either Henry is out of money, or so desperate to be in a movie that he'll take anything.
A promising beginning, a confrontation between sketchy van driver and Rollins set the stage for a possibly interesting watch. Unfortunately this movie is so cookie cutter, with every cheesy cliché line you can imagine written in. It's so cliché I couldn't even watch another minute past about 20 of them.
The script itself isn't very good, its exacerbated by powerful, powerful overacting by women whom I assume are very good on the casting couch, as based on their talent, I wouldn't cast them in a tampon commercial.
Amazingly enough this dog seems to be a straight to video release. I can't see anyone paying for a seat for this.
