A story about a bus journey. Just fantastic film making, and an outstandingly magnificent performance by Timothy Spall. Nothing happens. Just this journey interspersed with flashbacks as to why he is making it. You may need tissues handy.

It's a cheesy, melodramatic and tepid tale of a man who gets on the bus a lot. It's supposedly a journey, but we never get to see how it's progressing. It's a tribute to old ideals but the characters aren't likeable enough to carry the message. The focus is on the old man at the expense of the scenery, which is a shame. I'm an old man myself and would like to have enjoyed this, but to be honest, I was a bit bored. It also felt like a bit of a lecture as all the minorities were just lovely and all the white folks were racists and drug addicts.

Was hoping to see a little indie road movie with great characters full of charm and pathos. Instead it was an exceedingly badly acted film, yes including Spall, sorry, he was the reason we watched the film in the first place, but he is bad in it, can't think why he said yes to the project. What was worst than the poor acting was all the virtue signaling and wokism. Nothing about this film was in slightest bit real in any department. So tendinous and disappointing, was expecting more from the director of The Small Faces, which was so good and original. Completely forgettable.

Naysayers gonna nay, but this is really sweet, it's a great movie, a story very well told of character and life lived for love.

Just sat through this bittersweet film where Timothy Spall played an old man travelling from John O'Groats to Lands End. My god did they lay on the woke politics despite it adding precisely nothing to the story. He stood up for a Pakistani in a hijab, was rescued by a black woman, was given a lift by some Ukrainians and gave a crying lesbian a hug.

Depressing, no real storyline or moral message. Makes most people to be totally oblivious to the old man's situation and lacking any humanity.. Zero stars.

I cried, it was a really beautiful film the acting was great the way the film was shot was really excellent as well. Its a small movie buts it really punched above its weight. It's a pity films like this don't get shown in the big cinemas because there is a place for a well told story amongst all the big budget stuff.

Started to watch this Tim is a great actor no question, but once again, do we have to have the woke mixed relationships. There is nothing wrong with a black and white relationship, but it's in everything, adverts, films, TV shows, this just not a true reflection of society.

Timothy Sprall gives an outstanding performance in this bittersweet movie . The Last Bus is a journey of loss and grieving to a conclusion of sorts.
