Not as bad as other reviewers say it was, imho. Eric and Allyson buy a home and rent out their guest house to Eric to make the mortgage payments. But, unfortunately for them, Eric is not who he says he is. He has the hots for Allyson and tries to break up the happy couple but will he succeed? Tune in to find out but it was worth a watch, anyway!.

I finished it, but his acting made it very difficult. This movie is a good example of why desperation for anything is not good. The set up for movies like this are always hard to accept because why would anyone be so trusting so fast? You should never be so hard up for money that critical thinking goes out of the door when it comes to strangers or people you know. Maybe that's something this movie could have changed. The couple could have wanted a renter so the guesthouse wasn't vacant AND have an added benefit of a contribution to the mortgage. Not they (really she) bought a house they couldn't afford and had no choice but to seek other income. How is that enjoyable or responsible? This movie had potential, but was ultimately terrible. So the boyfriend gets arrested for attacking the psycho tenant, but the tenant doesn't get arrested for using a gun that wasn't his to shoot someone?! WHAT??? Then he's allowed just not show up at the police station to provide a statement and answer questions? Some things are too ridiculous and it's because Lifetime chooses this path. The concept of a nightmare tenant that's hard to get rid of is a decent set up for a movie because the tension is baked in. It's as if because Lifetime just churns these movies out that they only give the bare minimum to the actual production. These movies don't HAVE to be as bad as they are. Movies like My Husband's Killer Girlfriend, The Perfect Wedding, and House on Fire are a few of this year's examples where they clearly put in some effort. The villain Josh was a terrible actor and it was as if he was reading his lines. He looked a mashup of John Cena and Jon Bernthal. I'll give him that his character seemed 'roided up' and unstable, but the portrayal still needed to be taken down a couple of notches. I think the movie tried to do a twist, but it was really obvious from the start. Lifetime movies of late (2017-present) rarely deploy true twists. Brittany Underwood is usually reliable whether she's the protag or the villain, but her character was way too trusting and gullible here. The climax scene was nothing spectacular. It was what it was. Watch it once and decide.

This is probably the worst lifetime movie I've ever seen, and I've seen some pretty bad ones. The title leaves nothing to wonder. Spoiler Alert. The killer is the one who lives in the backyard. There is a stupid subplot regarding cheater that was 100% irrelevant. The acting, script and overall story was awful. Boring, predictable and unbearable to watch and I'm not that hard to entertain or impress...obviously because I watch Lifetime movies as a guilty pleasure and even like most of them, so what does that tell you. If even I couldn't find anything good, you definitely won't either. Pick another title to watch and don't waste your time on this one. Not one part of it intrigued me. The WORST lifetime movie I've seen in a long time. I hate myself for even finishing it.

This is one of the four or five standard plots that Lifetime movies follow over and over, and the final outcome could be predicted after the first 15 minutes, down to the lady kneeing the crazed armed killer in the junk in the final fight scene. But the biggest problem was the mismatch between the two main characters. She is older than him, and frankly not very attractive. It didn't feel real.

The plot has been done before so I knew I wasn't going to see anything new. But the acting was beyond awful. The guy who plays Josh was downright embarrassing. Try a new gig, dude, acting is not for you. The 2 cops were also laughably bad with the few lines they had, not to mention the scene and dialogue were stupid and unrealistic. As usual, nice setting Lifetimes gives us. Points only for that. Not worth the watch.

The main character was so desperate to get married it was ridiculous. She had not one endearing quality to her name as a person. Even though the ken-doll plastic faced villain was amongst the worst Lifetime has to offer, I still choose him to win over the main character. I didn't even bother learning names.

The progression throughout the story line was unrealistic. The acting was horrible, especially from the lead male. His line delivery most of the time had no emotion and fell short. The lead female's sister probably was the best actress out of the entire cast. Some scenes were unnecessary and didnt make sense.

The story doesn't make any sense + the way how they act is silly, background music is horrible! This is kind of movie that the actors knew there is a camera, They are not comfortable in their performances. In summary, don't waste your time.
