The Intent

The soundtrack to this movie was banging. I actually added the songs to my playlist. Tayo Jarrett's (Hoodz) performance was great.....very genuine as if he experienced this type of lifestyle first hand. He should audition for roles in the U.S.. Although, it was hard to understand what was being said at times (I had to enable the closed caption), I really enjoyed listening to the lingo and seeing how the conversations between actors played out. The undercover role should have been hidden better to leave us guessing. And it's hard to believe that after the first robbery and death the police would continue the undercover operation allowing more than 10 more deaths. I would have given the movie less stars but I love the soundtrack and the acting by Tayo Jarrett.

I honestly think some of the people in this film were on the bus or walking the dog and got dragged in. The acting is beyond bad, I mean worse than Hollyoaks. The first woman who is shot in the chest flomps down with no blood or bullet wound like she's been hit with a teabag. It's just rank bad- avoid.

This film had more plot lines than swiss cheese, I could be wrong as I had to put subtitles on to follow but was he not recruited to infiltrate the TIC gang but only after did they call themselves TIC I could be wrong and I know I am not their target audience but it was pretty much incomprehensible. A lot of the film looked like a music promotional video, the acting was wooden and cliqued especially with the police. I can not follow if he was there to bring down the gang bingo after the first robbery and killing of the shopkeeper the under cover police man had them bang to rights. Instead they are allowed to continue to rob and murder and the ide that you give away free trainers and that makes it all right is reprehensible. You have to in most movies engage with the characters but they are all one dimension, not a great choice for a Saturday summed up by my wife "that was rubbish"

The message of the movie was good. The plot was cool. The message for young black men who feel marginalised and substitute or make up for lack of education, wealth, social standing etc by 'getting rich quick' comes through. And for me I think that's the purpose of the whole movie - easy money doesn't pay. I can deal with my other critiques of this movie except the swearing. Don't know, every second word is just swearing. It kind of takes away from the heartfelt struggle that these boys go through and their perceived way of getting to were they at. Other than that, I think its deep.

The TIC gang of south London escalates from selling small bags of weed to killing and robbing rival drug dealers. Gunz (Dylan Duffus ) is a mole in the group for the police. Killing and shooting. Lots of Jamaican style talk and hip-hop music. Not much in character development. Guide: F-word, sex, nudity.

From the roles to storyline to soundtrack... ZERO COMPLAINTS. Watched it 3 times. Respect

Too many bad actors ruined what could have been a decent film. Over the top dialect which is sometimes confusing. The plot and story are actually very good but it's let down by the poor cast. Too much street talk for me too.

Oh man this was absolute rubbish. Terrible acting, horrible storyline and hard to understand the language they were speaking. Pretty sure it was English but so much slang it was difficult to follow. Do yourself a favour and pass on this disaster.

It's my first time writing a review, because I really think this movie deserves much better than a 4 in rating. The movie has a great build up with many surprises and keeps going on. I wasn't bored any minute. Something happens all the time. Totally not a typicall Hollywood movie, which I really enjoyed.

I think compared to the usual, 'Violent gangster film' its got a current vibe to the film, showing varied veiws of living that lifestyle and growing up in an area like that. although it may be wooden I really was gripped and enjoyed it. I liked and was shocked by the twists... After seeing everybodys reviews I'm embarrassed to say I thought it was epic
