Just opened Netflix to see this as the first suggestions, because they released it today (Nov 2). I do like watching Christmas movies, liked the Christmas Inheritance and happened to watch that too on Netflix, so went ahead and gave this a try.
I never watch such movies with high expectations, and sadly this couldn't meet that even. Maybe because in genres it said "Movies for ages 10-11". Maybe the kids will like or love.
Cliche story which has been done many times. A girl who has self respect, wants to do something on what she is really fond of, a family who asks to join their own venture instead of being a struggler, doesn't want to take help from her family, has a childhood best friend who loves her, but she crashes into the hottest guy of the town, they meet, they date, the break-up because he doesn't care about her feelings, and at the end she realizes that her childhood friend is the one.
15 mins in, and you could predict the entire movie.
