The title sounds like a * movie. That would actually suggest more of a plot than this movie actually has. The main character is the biggest Karen ever, who is stupid to 6 decimal places. No man would go a mile of her. The only way this character June would plausibly is if someone said her name in the mirror three times. She was clad by the wardrobe person strait out of Goodwill. The rest of the characters are flat and demonstrate the personality of a crayon. It would help this script if the main character, June, would move away from her gingerbread house. Whoever wrote the script should have their pension revolked.

Do you love love? Do you hate losing all your money in crypto? Do you enjoy watching hot and sustainably-oriented handymen? The movie has a lovable charm, with charming characters, and cozy settings. The plot is predictable in the best way possible. Like your go-to meal at your favourite fast food restaurant, you feel at home right away even if you've not been to this particular location or this movie before. You can tell the actors are feeling good, are well hydrated, and are enjoying themselves on set. The joy shines through the set and will light up your living room. Hallmark hit the mark with this one.

Jodie Sweetin does not need a wig and it was distracting for the entire movie. I agree that there needed to be more background or flashbacks for her character and probably for Bertie, too. Also, the gay travel-mate was totally unnecessary and insulting and stereotypical. Finally, there was little chemistry between Corey and Jodie. It was just non-existent, no real flirting, no real serious conversations, no fights, no nothing until the last 2 minutes. Maybe what was missing was the usual "best friend" to keep telling her that she was falling for Bart. This could have been an interesting story with more plot and character development. A big disappointment.

Disagree with the harshness of the reviews here. It's a solid 7 on the Hallmark scale, and I watch probably 75 of these a year. So I've got some experience in this area. What I liked: -It was fun and silly. That's what I want most out of a Hallmark film. By far. -The characters were likable and had some chemistry. I especially liked the secondary female character. -It was a fun setting and had a festival, which always is a plus in my book What I didn't like: -So much suspension of disbelief. For example, she was completely broke and inherited the house...but suddenly had money again to pay for basic things like food? Also, there's a brief shot in a montage of her being a hair dresser to make ends meet. This isn't an instant "make ends meet" kind of gig. You have to train for this and get a license. So much non-stop lazy nonsense like this.

I have to join in about the Sweetin hair. What was that? Wicked witch is all I could think of. Also her acting is getting tiresome. She needs a time out. The only reason I gave a decent score was Corey Sevier. Now he kept up the movie in his usual great style. I have to agree with another rviewer. The animal wrangler did a great job in presenting the animals. Says something about a movie if the highlight is the animals. I have to give kudoes to the wardrobe person for the sister. Her clothes suited her and were very stylish. Especially liked the light brown outfit at the beginning. Usually the hat thing is distracting but the sister's hat throughout the movie was becoming and set off her face very nicely. Like to see Ann in more movies.

This is one of the worst Hallmarks movies I have ever seen. It was so bad, you couldn't look away. It was a train wreck, it was like Jodie never took acting lessons. This movie is design to be sweet, it was more of a comedy because the acting was so bad. I laughed out loud because it was so bad and the script was honestly trash. Don't waste you time, skip it. There's really nothing else to say but the review requires me to use a certain amount of words in order to publish. I can't hardly even meet the minimum words, because there's nothing else to say. It's just nothing but a train wreck and a nightmare.

Bad hair and over the top set decoration. Maybe Hallmark should return to producing all their own movies. This one was produced by Brain Power Studios, the same production studio that also did "The Jane Mysteries". The same guy directed both and they both share the same problem. The scripts are weak and the dialogue silly but that can be forgiven if the characters are properly developed. I like Jodie Sweetin but her character is portrayed as clueless and inept. I blame the director and writer. June Waltshire is supposed to be a graduate of Oxford and yet is not aware of how her money is being managed or even how to hold a job in a coffee shop? I realize it's a movie but please stop the stereotype of clueless rich people. I might add that the ladies of the town were portrayed as snobby and a bit snarky. Another stereotype that should stop. I live in a small town and no one I know would be that rude. At least not to your face. As others mentioned, the wigs or hair extensions or whatever are horrible. Jodie Sweetin is a very attractive woman so why give her such distracting hair? Corey Sevier and the rest of the cast did fine with what they had to work with. I especially liked Ann Pirvu as the lead's sister. It's not the best movie of this type but there have been worse. Extra points for the animals. I give it a generous six. I found it very interesting that as this movie was premiered on Hallmark another Jodie Sweetin movie debuted on "the other network" at the same time.

Loved the pink blouse and pants, ivory pleated dress. Couple more of the outfits. Her HAIR!!! That is absolutely the worst wig I have ever seen in my life!!! It was hideous. It was hard to look at. IF it's NOT a wig.... Do SOMETHING. Almost turned it off in the first few minutes. Maybe she was having a horrible time in the first part.. I realize these movies are normally all the same. Had Bart not been introduced into the movie I wouldn't have continued watching. The bank safety deposit box scene was gag worthy. If you can hang in until Bart makes his entrance then you can stomach through it. But the hair...

Over the top acting (by most), choppy storyline, bland chemistry, goofy music clips... I am not looking for Jane Austen intuitiveness when I watch Hallmark, these movies are my mental release, but I do appreciate good writing and directing - followed by believable acting. This movie was reminiscent of an 80's sitcom, that had 1 season. I have seen an improvement in Hallmark movies of late; a little more grit, depth and reality. This movie did not make the cut. To produce this, edit it and think it's up to par, is a major oversight. I actually like these actors, just not their performance in this particular film.
