Though the movie started out on a interesting train fight sequence. The entry of Vijay was hustling and bustling. The background score didn't really hot the mark in this film. The first part was a poor written sit - com and it was slow paced. Recall of his old films were nostalgic at certain parts but it was overdone throughout the movie. The emotional scenes were forced..The child trafficking scene was too raw and triggering. The second part was comparatively fast paced but other than yogi babu 's presence and a cricket match, It was not watchable . The song placement was so poor. The story line was predictable but it was not entertaining as his old movies. It lacked the feel of entertainment and satisfaction of watching a Vijay movie rather it turned out to be a torturous 3 hours. I do commend them for their attempt on the CG and de aging but it made me lose the experience of the movie at times and that was a let down . Vijay movies usually attracts children and family audience but I would strictly not recommend them to watch this movie as it has scenes depicting violence towards children , raw scenes of child trafficking and a brutal murder of a female character.

Mind blowing and Incredible flim. One of the best movie in Vijay ana and VP careers, I adore it. The first half of GOAT is really gripping, with VP setting up a terrific interval block that will blow your mind. The second half is fast paced, packed with whistle worthy moments. The film really picks up after the interval with an intense face off, keeping things fast, loaded with twists and turns. Thalapathy Vijay, in full form, got his usual charm, emotional depth, action moves, dance skills, and humor on full display, which is sure to strike the chord with fans and family audience. The action sequences are stylishly choreographed. Thanks AGS and VP team Thalapathy.
