Didn't laugh at all, the comedy elements are so outdated. Waste of time watching it.

Love Inbetweeners and this just feels right up their street. it might as well be Simon fantasizing over specific girls as the only difference between this guy and simon is the name of the character. Actually surprised and laughed in cinema which i usually dont. Worth the watch if your into this sort of comedy!

After reading some of the reviews for this film I thought it wasn't going to be very good, but i was veey wrong, its funny, suspenseful in certain parts and really entertaining!

Hes not funny. Hes not awkward. He's not cute. Or funny. The cringe hurts. Nick is an awful moron. Selfish gift. The writers are not clever. Do they think he is a Hugh Grant or Ricky Jervais. His mate is worth a film.

One of the worst films I have ever seen, in genuine disbelief at how bad it was

So just when all the festivals are coming to an end and Uni is about to recommence, we have another cash cow comedy released to try and bring 'friends together' See also....how to make a quick buck. Joe Thomas, given the right material, is a wonderful actor. Fresh Meat and White Gold are two of the funniest things I've seen in a while. But his characters are melding in to one. A bit Nick-ish. So once again, he plays a depressed chap who is trying to forget about an ex, so he and his friend Shane go to the Leeds/Reading festival to forget about it all and have a good time.... So watching this pile of madw me think. I'm here for an hour and a half watching a narcissist feeling sorry for himself, whilst everyone else is whacked up on goofballs. And I'm watching everyone apart from Thomas onscreen having a ball, but in the cinema with a pretty full house, you could hear a pin drop. Literally no-one laughed or even sniggered during this film. It's because it's a dog of a film that relies on tired piercing and poo jokes that where boring twenty years ago. When you are relieved to see a Smurf on screen, you know something is up. It's full of highly unlikable people, doing abhorrent things to each other, and animals, and when the two characters in the film you show an ounce of empathy for are depicted as being a little 'thick', you know you are watching trash. Add boring cameos from Nick Frost and Noel Fielding, The Festival is one of the worst films I've seen in a very long time. I'm a big fan of trashy British comedies, but not when they go for the gross out moments that are older than my daughter. Nothing happens, it finishes without any closure, and it's like spending time with a Festival goer who has 'been there, and done that'. Painful.....

Does what it says on the tin . Simple yet brilliant English humour. Fan of the invetweeners or any of that bag you will laugh I thought it was so funny I will be going back again Basically about everything going wrong at a festival /everything you wished happened at a festival Easy going light hearted hilarious Highly recommend

I really enjoyed this movie. Joe Thomas played a very similar character to Simon in Inbetweeers. It was funny throughout. If you didn't enjoy the Inbetweeners then you won't enjoy this movie, if you did then you will love it.

I went to see this movie at the cinema with my uncle and the opening scene caught us off guard completely but it set the tone for the whole film. It has some really brilliant laughs and nothing is taken too serious. A welcome escape from everyday life just like going to a festival or similar. A few scenes made me laugh harder than I have to any comedy in the last couple of years. The use of shock tactics and in your face awkwardness (similar to the Inbetweeners) is tactful and yet in abundance. This movie is what it says it is, a good old solid British comedy.

Good plot , good script , typically funny lines you'd expect from an inbetweeners type movie with a touch of American Pie. An enjoyable film that will be equally popular when it transfers to the amazon prime type small screen . There's a few cringeworthy moments but it will hit home with its target audience of festival goers and students and their parents too . Worth a watch but not a huge mistake if you wait for it to come to the small screen . Pad.A 6/10
