The Fear Footage

That was a waste of time for me I went into it with an unbiased mind and tried, really tried, to watch it. I didn't like it. Apart from the low lighting and occasional jumpscares, which contribute hugely to making of horror movies, it really didn't do much for me. I know those who are jumpy or lighthearted may not be able to watch it, but for me, none of the jumpscares got me. That might just be a me thing, I dunno. Either way, it's pretty alright, I guess, just wasn't my thing

I've noticed a lot of fake reviews on here! Very vague, negative reviews. Ignore those! These reviews aren't even posted on dates that the film was screened anywhere, so how could they have seen it? Don't fall for bad reviews from these miserable losers who hate to see people do things they wish they could! See this terrifying little film for yourself and make up your own mind. I did, and I loved every second of it. Very well done found footage film! The ending is pure nightmare fuel!

This movie had me trembling and really set the bar for horror movies! I can't remember the last time I watched a horror movie and jumped out of my seat so many times! This film was very creative and the use of a cops body cam was genius to say the least! Found footage films are always a hit or miss for me, however, this one was up there for me alongside Paranornal Activity and The Blair Witch Project! It felt like a long walk through a haunted house!

From the moment deputy Leo received the call and entered the house..I immediately felt fear and curiosity.Evertime he watched the footage on the tape(which he was warned about)..you could slowly feel the intensity the house contained.His fight to escape and for survival..made me feel the fear he experienced.I don't want to give away the footage I saw in between.Just know that you will jump out of your seat in panic while constantly checking behind you.....P.S. DON'T EXPECT TO SLEEP THAT NIGHT!!

If you don't have surround sound this movie will make you want to get one immediately. Turn the lights off. Turn the volume all the way up and keep your drink out of your hand. The Fear Footage will keep you jumping in FEAR the entire film

So horror, great, anthology, great, first couple of stories, great. Last story so insanely bad it sets the entire movie back heavily. So there I was sat at this screening really quite enjoying myself, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed and it was overdue for me to be at one of these things. They're always so much better than the traditional cinema experience for me. I knew it was found footage and I knew it was likely to be bad but in places I was pleasantly surprised, sure it had all the usual problems these movies suffer from but it had a few noteworthy bits and bobs throughout. Sadly it ran out of steam and by the end the quality had dipped to such an extent that couldn't be overlooked. It's as if Creepshow had an additional story on the end which was a horror version of the farting scene from Blazing Saddles. It didn't fit, it wasn't very well made and it ruined the whole thing for me. Then out came the very smug director or producer or writer whatever he was and asked people to review it on IMDB so here I am. The Fear Footage isn't a great movie and I get the impression looking at the reviews that Mr Smug might have something to do with that. It however isn't awful, but if you've seen lots of other found footage type films you may as well pass on this as it's exactly the same stuff again.

This really confusing horror wasn't fun or scary at all. I didn't understand the last story and thought everything looked really poor like the movie was made on a budget of 10 bucks. One of the girls was cute, but the main guy from the first story was a worse actor than Nic Cage. 2/10 really bad film though my boyfriend enjoyed it.

The Fear Footage caught me completely by surprise! I'll keep this short by simply saying that if you are looking for something that is actually scary, this is the movie you want to watch! I will pass on the effective viewing instructions that were given to me when I received my copy--Turn off the lights, turn up the volume and try not to jump!
