Several people in a near-empty school get attacked by random guys - well, probably not random in writing, but their identities are never revealed - and so people die.
I'm not sure whether our protagonist was supposed to be shown in a sympathetic light or supposed to be a deadbeat as hinted at in one scene. If he was a deadbeat the level of "political correctness gone mad" simply was unbearable. If not, well... truthfully he wasn't charismatic enough to get my sympathy.
The kills are violent albeit only shown after the fact hence losing some impact they otherwise would have had.
Honestly I felt pretty apathetic.

This must be the worst horror film I have ever seen. Not scary one bit and the murderous hoodies weren't scary. None of the actual murders were witnessed which frustrated me and meant i feared the hoodies even less.
Rubbish music came on when the hoodies emerged and you saw them coming a mile off so no jumpy bits.
NOW the hoodies, they seem to defy gravity somehow and crawl around the building ceilings and shelves and jump off objects without anyone seeing or hearing them. Why? How? I was hoping the ending would answer some questions. It didn't! It didn't explain who the hoodies were, why they killed, why that school at that time.
It didn't even finish just left you guessing Worst film ever !

OK, so maybe I am being over generous with my rating but I wanted to counter-act the other votes a little as I cannot agree with the views of the majority of other reviewers.
I thought F was an excellent little horror film which I will certainly recommend to my friends. It was tautly directed, well acted and thought provoking. Like many films there are some imperfections, especially in the plotting - as an ex-Headteacher I would be astonished to see the school librarian staying on late into the night for no particular purpose. However, this does not distract from the rising tension and terror as the film builds. It is interesting that many reviewers have differing ideas about what was going on especially regarding the Hoodies. For what it's worth, my view was different again from any others I have read. It seems to me that the Hoodies were not actually human. How else can their stealth, agility and gross brutalism be explained? I think the polarised views of this low budget film testifies to its quality. It a movie that provokes analysis and discussion. If you liked F, seek I recommend Eden Lake.

I think this movie is getting a lot more flack than it deserves. The plot concerns a school being invaded after hours by a gang of killers, and the only one who realizes something is wrong can't get the others to believe him, but he can't leave himself because his daughter is also at school.
I see most of the complaints are centered around certain areas where the movie leaves things open. People are angry that the gang's motive isn't explained, but it seems clear to me. They were nothing more than a bunch of killers out for a thrill. The film talks about how incidences of violence against school staff are up, so why are people acting like it's so confusing? The second point is the ending. It's true the film ends somewhat ambiguously, but other reviewers are blowing it way out of proportion. Without giving details, the main conflict is wrapped up, and it's pretty easy to guess what's gonna happen after the credits roll. This isn't a "anyone who dislikes this movie is stupid!!" rebuttal, but frankly it seems to me that the people who criticized those aspects were people who couldn't make their own guesses.
As for my own thoughts, I loved it. The hoodie gang, utilizing stealth, Le Parkour and high brutality were a very stylish antagonist. Most of the kills are off screen, but we do see the aftermath and I'm wondering why people question the rating when what we do see is quite grisly. It's true that most of the supporting cast aren't likable, but isn't that to be expected in these types of movies? I do have my own complaints. The film starts out trying to give some social commentary on teen violence and the grade rating system, but that seems to be pretty much forgotten once the killers arrive. While I'm not one to complain about kills in a horror movie, I also feel like they could've done more with the main character's troubles with both his job and his family. It leaves me hoping for a sequel, because I even without the ending I think there's more this story to give.
To conclude, it seems as though whether or not you'll like this movie depends on how much importance you place on everything being explained. I can relate, but I honestly think that the mysteries aren't as big a deal as people make them out to be.

Warning: DON'T do as I did and waste 79 minutes of you life on this predictable, frustrating film. I'm furious I didn't fast forward it. I won't call it a thriller, I won't call it a horror, it should have been mind numbingly called 'turn the lights on you stupid buggers'. All the way through it, you hope that somehow it will build, that the pace will somehow get you t the edge of your seat and then keep you there....yet all it delivers is the same old, stayed, cringe worthy predictable scenes.
Every one of these characters deserved to be killed. In fact, by the end of the film, it doesn't matter that you don't see the 'hoody' yoooffff faces, because you just want to start to cheer them on for getting rid of a bunch of idiots, who can't seem to use mobiles to call the police and when they do finally get through to them, the two that turn up deserve to be high on the list of the teen killers because of their stupidity.
It's full of what I call stupid music, that music used in horror films that attempts to chill you to the bone, which is really there to tell you if the idiot character doesn't turn around and see that there's a big ole horror fest panto taking place in the same room as he keeps walking into - 'HE'S BEHIND YOU' then the music will let you know that another one is about to get shanked!!! Just in case you might never have seen any other predictable horror film before.
I can't even tell you that overall the actors were bad, they weren't real bad actors, just a real terrible plot.
How many people left in a building at night? In the dark? Not one light bulb between them, until the director wanted an atmospheric shot, then he found some red bulbs just for the fun of it.
Cleaners cleaning in the dark? Teachers using the gym, working in libraries in the dark? Wow, if that's the level that directors and producers go to to try to get an ambiance of fear then please someone switch on the lights and hand me the carving knife, I'll do the job in half the time, less money and probably come out with a real horror fest.
They deserved everything they got in this terrible attempt at a thriller, suspense, horror????? Who knows what you'd call it. Don't go there, unless you have a light bulb in your back pocket and popcorn to pass the time. You've been warned.
Try better next time.

In North London, the teacher of the Wittering College Robert Anderson (David Schofield) is hit on the face by a student and is forced to take three months vacation to be not sued by the parents of the kid.
Robert is affected by the incident and a couple of months later, he is emotionally disturbed, alcoholic and separated of his wife Helen (Juliet Aubrey). Their daughter Kate (Eliza Bennett) lives with her mother and has classes with Robert, but she does not respect her father. The principal of Wittering College, Sarah Balham (Ruth Gemmell), loathes Robert and wants to get rid of him, but the Union does not allow her to fire him.
When Robert reads about violence in another school, he sends a memo advising the employees of the school and he is considered paranoid and delusional by everybody. One day after hours, Robert notes some strange movements outside the school and he advises the security guard James (Finlay Robertson) that does not give much attention to the discredited Robert. But sooner Robert realizes that the Wittering College is under siege of a gang of hooligans and he need to find Kate to protect his daughter.
"F" is a film with that had potential to be a great movie. Unfortunately the inconclusive story is shallow and does not develop the characters that are unlikable or the situation, and has a weak ending.
Robert is a looser and emotionally unstable; Kate is a bitch; Sarah is another bitch; Helen is also a bitch; James is coward; Kate's boyfriend Jake is a douchebag. Robert seeks out Kate in the school without any weapon (a piece of wood, a ax or whatever) to defend himself and his daughter from the gang. The conclusion is absolutely disappointing. My vote is five.

...this is just lazy.
F is about a bunch of "hoodies" attacking a school while one of it's teacher tries to save his daughter who's running around on the premises. And within that simple story line the film makers completely fail at making anything logical, understandable or good, for that matter.
There's no explanation on why the "hoodies" do it, who they are and why they all seem to be trained ninjas/practitioners of parkour. And trust me, this doesn't make the antagonists more scary. It just makes the writer of the movie lazy or not very good.
But I think I could let the lack of "why" slip by, if F had a proper ending. Or just an ending for that matter. It seems like they had about 20 more pages of script to shoot but sadly not a single penny left. So they just edited, what they had, together and didn't bother about any pesky details like an ending.
So if you're after a film about the rotten youth of today, check out Eden Lake. In the case of F, I not only want my money back I want my 79 minutes of life back.

This is a truly awful movie which has no redeeming features. The story is completely unoriginal - with the only interesting event happening in the first few minutes.
It's a bog standard teen slasher flick set in a British school, who is attacking them? for what reason? how was this all end? NONE of these questions are answered by the movie which just abruptly stops without making sense of the previous 90 minutes.
The acting, on the plus side, is perfectly fine for the most. Not Oscar worthy but not any where near as bad as the writing, directing or basic camera-work.
This movie makes 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' or 'Friday the 13th' look like works of Shakespeare!
Avoid at all costs!
