The entire movie is like classic Hollywood style movie. It has good story line and plot make me laughing and those charming and mysterious characteristic make throughout movie attractive and funny.
Rinko Kikuchi as Bang Bang,is the character i like the most, throughout the movie, she only didn't speak more than three times (not include the karaoke singing). Her character was unique and she always steals the show and attention as the quirky mysterious sidekick . Rian Johnson did it success for the character.
The movie was so much loving brotherhood between Adrien Brody and Mark Ruffalo, I can't find anything quite similar in the realistic but in this movie. The brotherhood was touch especially when you knew the end of the movie which Ruffalo actually did it a con all good and sacrifice for his brother Adrien.
And again this a movie comedy, different, special and I recommended.

That movie hung if not a smile a smirk on my lips for the entire show. And a show it is; from the beginning to the end.
Yes the fourth acts is a little bit overarching, yes, the characters are a touch forced, but the magic is real and I've had geniune pleasure watching this movie.
I think it is a beautiful con-man/where does the con end? Type of movie and to me the comedy, the mystery, the absurd and the real are beautifully wrapped up with a light jazzy tune that accompanies you through this twisty, never-endy family love hate relationship.
Watch it.it will make you smile.

While tonally different than Brick, Brothers Bloom delivers Rian Johnson's trademark writing and direction in exquisite fashion. A film about con-men that makes you wanna be a con-man.
The more originals Johnson makes, the better. And I liked TLJ.

Two con brothers are preparing for their final plot, to get money from a rich isolated heiress. Their final plan, however, will take them a trip around the globe. The story of the movie sounds promising, however the real thing is disappointing. The actors seem to be uncomfortable in their roles, the skipping from one scene to the next is getting tiring, the music isn't very suitable, the twists aren't entertaining, the ending is unsatisfying. The only plus that I could find in the movie were the costumes and atmosphere. However those things can't save the whole movie. In the end, the only thing I could remember from the film is the quot from the older brother about the perfect con.

Semi-whimsical tale of con men brothers tries hard to add something new to an old idea, but ultimately gets bogged down in the by-now over-familiar "is it a con or isn't it?" routine. Surprisingly forgettable in the end.

I guess I have a weakness for movies involving illusions a la David Mamet and/or cons - again David Mamet despite knowing on the way in that a certain amount of manipulation is de riguer and the chances are that it's me i.e. the audience who's gonna get shafted. Les Freres Bloom is no better and no worse than most of the others. For the most part it keeps you interested and should it loosen its grip there's always the travelogue shots of Prague to take up the slack. The acting is competent without being outstanding and though Rachel Weisz is not really as knockout as she would like you to believe she's still some way from chopped liver. In other words, what's not to like.

Adrien Brody excels, Mark Ruffalo blends into the background, and Rachel Weisz may have the best role of her career here. Typically I am not a fan, but she was a lot of fun here, and she had a Winona Ryder vibe going on, which was cool.
The film is pretty silly, with a cat in a wheelchair and some odd costumes. But it is never quite silly long enough. It is one part Wes Anderson and one part something completely different. Why not just be two parts Wes Anderson (or one really big part, all Wes Anderson, no others parts)? Alas.

It was very funny yet very sad at the same time. I liked the first 45 minutes more than the last hour because after a certain point it all just seemed to drag on and on and on. The plot was solid but it seemed to get way ahead of itself or too full of itself. The character played by Rachel Weisz was very funny (a little vulgar at times) and perhaps the best and meatiest roll in the whole film. Rinko Kikuchi (from Babel) is also in this but she barely speaks in it, I liked her character's funny mannerisms and style nevertheless. Adrien Brody and Mar Ruffalo shared good chemistry as brothers but tended to over-act most of their scenes. I agree with most other reviewers that Ms. Weisz should have made another Mummy movie rather than star in this, but she is such a class act that she brings out the best in everything she does.

A dash of Orson Welles, with a flare of David Mamet. I think this movie will be appreciated more by the next wave of film aficionados who start going down the rabbit hole of "magic" movies.
