The movie's first scene sets the tone of the movie - bad acting. It goes into "action" early on without dillydallying but unfortunately instead of being creepy and unsettling it feels just boring and straight-out stupid. The build up falls flat and not even the supposed torturing (which there isn't much of) doesn't save this movie to be worth watching. The gory parts are clearly fake, which is fine with some movies however for this one it just added to "can't do anything right".
When I first read the plot of this I didn't notice the tag-line pointing to 12 personalities but it became clear quite fast. The entire premise of 12 personalities feels extremely inorganic with all the "personalities" being clear roles played up. Any feel of true insanity is nowhere to be seen and leaves much to be desired.
I honestly didn't predict the last moments - but even that was completely ruined by having to literally spell out the situation in case anyone was stupid enough to not catch what was implied.
Don't waste your time, one of the few movies making me wish I could get back the time I spent. While it's not one of the ones I actually dropped watching (which are less than 10 from the abundance of movies I've seen over the years) I was seriously considering turning it off almost halfway through.

This film dosent deserve 3.7 stars. Its better than that. A not half bad thriller. I thought the cast all did a pretty good job Jackson Davis being the crown to this and how he played out with his characters . And with a twist you won't see coming but makes it just that bit better 6.00 stars

Craig Owen (Cayleb Long) is a very successful musician. He is married to Kelly (Mischa Barton) who likes champagne. Outside of the liquor store, Craig is abducted by L.A.'s serial killer known as Gemini (Jackson Davis). Gemini, you can call me Bill, has Craig secured to a chair. Bill puts on various garbs, playing different people as talks to and tortures Craig. Like most of these films, Craig uses reverse psychology in an attempt to get away.
Nice ending twist I should have seen coming. Also can be seen as a dark comedy if you know the genre.
Guide: opening scene nudity. F-word.

One of the most disappointing movies I have ever watched. An entire plot is built up with somewhat interesting, yet dull, details and then is completely thrown out the window with the worst plot twist to appear in a horror film. If you're a fan of gore, this movies only redeeming quality, you'll still be disappointed by the terrible effects. Do not watch this movie if you place any value on your time. It is not worth it and you will be left feeling more pain than that which is inflicted on any person during the film.

There is a cool Lamborghini driven by the lead character in the beginning...I'll give it that. Beyond that its a poor rip off of Hotel and Split.

I can't believe no one has thought of this idea before! It's absolutely stunning in concept and perfectly executed! They've achieved the perfect torture movie by turning it on its head and making the film ITSELF pure torture for the poor soul stupid enough to watch it!
To achieve this brilliant goal they pulled no punches and really went for it with the worst dialogue, most cringe worthy acting, characters so unbelievable and moronic you just can't take it, and to top it all off, the cherry on top.... it's so boring I wanted to strap myself to a chair and have someone torture me just for something to do.

There seems to be a recent trend of low budget movies where the "action" takes place in one room/location and is focussed on 2 main actors for virtually the entire 90 minutes. This is one of those movies.
It's fair to say there isn't really much of a plot. In fact, the entire movie is a bit like watching two students in a method acting class being held in a dimly lit room. While there is an element of torture horror, it is very predictable and adds nothing to the "plot". If you're a gore fan, you will be disappointed.
Sadly, Mischa Barton's total screen time amounts to around 5 minutes of cutaway scenes - I'm guessing she turned up on set for no more than a couple of hours at most as a favor to the director.
In summary, if you enjoy serial killer movies, you will have an infinitely more enjoyable experience watching old episodes of Criminal Minds.

Found this little gem on netflix and didn't think much of it. Yes, the beginning is slow and the acting feels wooden but IT GETS BETTER. The ending was brilliant. And the way the killer offs his victims? Creative af. I love it. Definitely worth a watch.
