It's impressive how its bad. The lines delivered by the character doesnt impact, because he has a robotic voice so freaking annoying. By the end of the film i was thanking that was over. Also the title and the development of the subject is poorly made. The reflections are too blank.

After 15 min I quit , couldn't watch more , the narrator is like a google translate voice - I couldn't stand it ! , same shoots over and over - I've seen moves made by students better then this one ! - sorry but try again

The idea of this film is simple: for some people, the search for god will never end, and the more they look, the more fanatic they get. Bad acting, bad Physics, bad effects and a few English mistakes aside, the movie was quite good! If you take this script and get a big budget movie, with Brad Pitt in the main role, you would probably see Oscars pooring.

The idea that God is 'up there' above the clouds or in some nebulous region of space pulling the strings is absurd. To be fair, the film does eventually get beyond 'God on a cloud' approach. But the decision to use speech synthesis is disastrous, making the narrator sound mentally deficient and idiotic in his profundities. Listening to a book via TTS becomes tiresome after 5 min, listening to this film for 70 min is unbearable. After sitting through the computer-generated "I'm OK". "What the hell", "Damn it", I had a great desire to see Tarkovsky's Solaris, which does a better job dealing with the angst of "Who am I?" in space. In answer to Octavian Repede: the Creator and His creation are one. The renaissance philosopher Giordano Bruno was convinced that the entire universe was held together by erotic love. Love in all its variations ruled the world, from physical nature to the metaphysical heavens, from sexuality to heartfelt love of the mystics: it led either to the animals (sexuality), or to the intelligible, and is then called the divine.

Time: 1:02:58 - I thought I would give it a shot. A Romanian astronaut? Intriguing. Well, it got more and more boring by the minute, and more and more annoying with the badly synthesized voices. But at that particular moment we had a heavenly revelation: when we heard that the astronaut had a "luxurious" shoulder, we burst into laughs at this moron's stupidity. Of course, he meant a "dislocated" shoulder, but the moron's English was that bad :D :D And there were morons in this world who gave him some awards for this stupid garbage! (Of course, bad English is continuous throughout the "film".)

It's a bold experiment in format. The texture of the colour, the voice over, the topic, all of that make this film more than courageous, bold.

Octavian Repede's virtually sole filmmaking journey favors the tenor of his film. At just over one hour, the film manages to effectively consider both; the psychology of our faith and the mystifying phenomena(s) that humanity cannot explain. Repede uses his minimalistic budget and diverse filmmaking techniques sensibly to create a beautifully atmospheric and haunting voyage to the edge of our world and our minds.

Watched from begining to end, and these days so much unoriginal garbage out there, which you struggle to get half way through, let alone even get to the end. In a way this is a little gem.
