OK not a high budget movie starring a pack of Hollywood elites and A-listers but competently directed, written and acted. I wasn't looking for some high and mighty social value. I just wanted to be entertained. And, I was. Sci-Fi premise is there. Aliens come to earth and remain hidden with a mission to study earth for colonization. The aliens appear as human with some differences. Our main character is the progeny of the union between and alien male and female earthling. Yes story has been done before but it still works. The female lead portrayed by the lovely Alexis Carra is caught up in all this when the aliens start hunting for the hybrid. His background is unknown to him but after 20 years it is revealed and the hunt begins. Both leads do well. Sorry but Alexis Carra is definitely easy on the eyes and does a good job. Look to the future for more from her. So, all in all, free movie with Amazon prime, and entertainment us there. Better than watching a Meryl Streep movie any day.

A gave 5 stars as this was the director/writer's first effort and I was able to watch the whole movie through with some curiosity of what the ending would bring. Where was the package from Mom for the previous 20 years. The Post Office that far behind? The "Jane of all trades" girlfriend was almost comedy relief. Also, how was this handful of "evil aliens" to colonize Earth with just a few pregnant "one time use" women taking 9 months each to bring a half-alien to Earth? Not too practical. How did the aliens get here? No ship shown. How did they bring all those gas tanks of their atmosphere with them? In summary, I'm glad I didn't pay money for this video. Watched "free with ads" on a streaming service. I won't be looking for any future movies from this director.

Shot on location in Danville VA, this movie is better than most Sci-Fi mystery movies on the market. Bridd Cole leads a mundane life, getting up at 7am, going to work, delivering mail and being bashful when it come to temp employee Charlotte. Bridd's powers make an appearance when best bud Trent steps away from his desk during a Stock Trade. Bridd's "powers" allow him to perfectly select a trade that makes the company clients a great deal of money and gets Trent a nice size portfolio as a bonus. Trent is aware of Bridd's powers and wants him to use them to their benefit. Bridd declines as he's not the type to do that sort of thing. A brief encounter with Charlotte in the supply room gives Bridd another chance to showcase his powers. When a 20yo package is finally delivered, things get really interesting. The contents resemble a hand-held game system. Bridd ignores it and proceeds with his mundane life. He gets a date with Charlotte that leads to them going on the run, when they return to his house, find it trashed and unexpected visitors hiding in the shadows. Even worse, their boss is dead on the floor in Bridd's house. The visitors are dressed in Cat Burglar Attire with Motorcycle Helmets. Trent is the 2nd victim of the visitors. The Leader (David S. Lee) barely speaks, yet conveys so much in his actions. Bridd and Charlotte partake in a bit of a scavenger hunt to get details on what is happening and why. Bridd has to climb onto a library shelf to reach the next device in the hunt. yet, when he removes it from the book encasing it, Charlotte merely puts the book back on the top of the shelves. She's the same height as Bridd and therefore should have had to climb on the shelf as he did. It becomes clear The Leader is out to create hybrids on Earth. The question of why isn't revealed until the climax. Bridd learning how to use his powers to aid in their battle against The Leader is akin to watching Rain Man. Bridd can recall in detail things he's literally only seen for few seconds. Watch his eyes when he's attacked. They glow when he's "fully charged" and can hit back as hard as Superman. This first comes to light in the library when he has to take on one of The Leader's Cronies. The Cronies carry razor sharp double edged curved knives which can cut through skin and bone like a hot knife through butter. Apparently, Bridd and his kind are potent, because one night with him and Charlotte is preggers. The Leader needs Bridd's blood because as purebreds, they cannot breathe in Earth's atmosphere, hence the helmets. There are loose ends which permit a sequel. Considering one of the Cronies disappeared with a vial of Bridd's blood and there is a little one on the way, I'd like to see a sequel to this movie. I gave it a 7/10 because it wasn't campy, overly dramatic or too techy to follow. It had an even balance of sci-fi, mystery, romance and comedy. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes invasion movies.

On the most part I found it a good movie. The poster work on Amazon was misleading as I thought it would be more futuristic. But for a free streaming movie it is really good fun!! However.... The movie was too short. It has some good twists but it leaves you with lots of questions. Where are the other aliens at? Where is the home world? Why did they leave and why choose a planet they can't be on instead of looking elsewhere? Why can't the creepy leader talk? How did she know after just a few hours that she was pregnant? How did she get pregnant if they both still had underwear on in the bed? The actors in the movie- Austin Hebert and Alexis Carra were not suited for each other. Austin did a great job and I loved how he showed emotion. He was believable when he tried to give the video away. He looked sexy when he started the love scene. He looked distraught at the dumpster. He even looked good in the fight scenes... but... he is not a heart throb. He's too much like Toby Mcguire. He's a loveable dork. Alexis was just not right as his costar. Her acting was cheesy. Her fainting made me laugh; most of her acting made me laugh. She is way to over the top with her facial expressions. And she wasn't right body wise. Austin is 5'10. They should have put him with a shorter female. This would have made all those times that he tried to protect her and yelling run seem more real. Also, his fight scene would have looked better without the jacket. Even if he's lanky, show his body movements. I also wish they would have kept Trent around longer. He seemed like he was good comic relief. I do like how the ending was kept open. I would love if Amazon or Netflix could pick this up and make a part two or even a series. Perhaps she could die in labor and he can find another love intrest. Perhaps they could answer all those questions.

Bridd Cole (Austin Hébert ) lives a quiet life working in a DC office mail room of a brokerage agency. We see him do some extraordinary things on a computer and then the flirty Charlotte Parker (Alexis Carra) suddenly throws herself at him. When they return to his place for some real action...they get more than they bargained for as they go on the run, attempting to solve his life from old clues. This is an easy going science fiction film. It could have been a made-for-TV, the writing and shooting were that mediocre. Certainly not a bad film, but one I wouldn't pay to see. Guide: Soft 3 stars. No swearing, sex, or nudity

Movies like this this is much need for streaming services . Spectral(even with a bigger budget) on Netflix, still wasn't better than this movie. Amazon Prime should make this into a series or do a part 2 with a bigger budget. Amazon need this and the streaming right for that new Stargate SG1 series coming out to counter Netflix.

It was a valiant effort, and technically the movie looks pretty good, but the story is a string of movie tropes and cliches. The first 20 minutes seemed like this might be an interesting little film, but by 30 minutes I was cringing, and by 35 minutes, I'd had enough. It was a good effort and no doubt good practice for the production crew.

This movie is so bad. The writing is bad, the acting is bad. I was laughing at parts cause the acting and the writing were so bad at the same time.3/10 cause I did enjoy cracking jokes at the movie.

THE ANSWER might be advertised as a science fiction thriller but it turns out to be an indie romance with a few sci-fi touches here and there. The story is slow and sedate and the acting of a forgettable standard, featuring young actors with little discernable ability. The male protagonist is brutalised and follows a clue trail to find out who's hunting him. This film looks okay but there's very little real content.
