The Accursed

An incredibly boring 2021 horror movie. Despite being American made, the characters are of Balkan origin. The movie is about revenge and witchcraft. But it gives the impression that they are playing a game beyond a serious scenario. Really boring and unnecessarily long. I swear I could finish it in 3 days even fast forward.

Good plot! Good cast! Well written Eastern European witchcraft! This movie was highly engaging and entertaining! Watched again to make sure I got everything! Would recommend for any day of the week scary movie! Unique plot, and an artfully crafted cast. This movie will continue to see success as it rightfully deserves!

Im not usually a big fan of horror , but this film delivered just enough creepy to keep me at the edge of my seat. There were some stand out performances by Yancy Butler and Izabela Vidovic that were authentic and drew me into the story. I love that this project was created by an all female production team and would like to see more from them. Great job.

I like a good horror movie like this instead of the boring jump scare tactics. I thought this moved the story along at a good pace keeping me involved. Cast did a great job.

What a great movie, highly recommended! Great seeing Yancy Butler and Melora Walters on screen, and it's always great seeing Izabela Vidovic (also one of the producers; she plays young Kara Danvers on "Supergirl") in anything. A low budget horror movie but you don't notice it on the screen! A great movie and I can't wait to see what else this team does in the future!

It was a bit creepy, I didn't find the actresses believable as immigrants, story was kinda interesting regarding the high price of Betrayal. But could have been done alot better. Had a few creepy scenes. Meh....

It's not a jumpy horror, it's a slow burn, building up the story based on previous events. More of a horror drama. I loved it & will be watching more of the Director's films.

I am a horror movie fan, but what I think I liked most about it were the cultural touch points that added a better dimension to the typical witchcraft lore. And to avoid spoilers, I won't mention the moments that really stole the show - but there is some solidly creepy imagery throughout!

The end shot came on and the clock literally struck midnight... gave me the chills. What a beautifully crafted film. Opening scene sets the mood perfectly. You can tell right away you're in for a wild and frightening ride! The plot, characters, and setting transport you to an otherworldly realm; one that only lives in your worst nightmares! Loved the "didn't see it coming" twist. Only complaints are that I won't be able to sleep tonight, or wash my hands in the dark again. Bravo ladies! Bravo! 👏👏👏

Director went beyond story to show audience that film is not just story it is something that put chills and entertainment for audience. Great work !! Great cast!!!
