Reasons to watch
The scene where Possessed Alia was chasing Mang Asep was good tho
Nice gore
Reasons not to watch
copied insidious
copied the exorcist
-too many mistakes
-a scene where Alia threw a full coke bottle at the hospital
-very predictable
-a non stop continuous chain of revenge between human and ghost (keep on repeating the same story with different characters)
-it's awkward everytime they said "I Love You"

The CGI is not that perfect, but I think it gets the job 90% done.
Make-up and actors were actually really good, sound effects included. The actors (the spirits at least) really seemed dedicated to do a good acting. Really liked that.
Lots of intense scenes that actually involves some violence, fighting and actually hurting the protagonists and not that same "always running away safely".
Decent and numerous jump scares that keep you awake and thrilled with the movie.
The plot is alright, but gets more interesting as the ending approaches. Of course the plot isn't the most amazing thing but remember, this is a horror movie and if you're tired of haunted houses having always the same obvious plot then you will like this movie. They go to other places besides their home and (POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT) even enter other dimensions, and it's actually really well done.
Just be humble and accept that the movie hasn't got the most top tier effects and acting stuff. With that, you will have a greater chance to enjoy it. If you already enjoy this type of movies (about spirits, etc.) then I believe you will like it.

I watch a lot of horror and this is one of the better ones. If you find this boring then maybe you're watching the wrong genre or you're not accustomed to foreign horror films.

This is not a sophisticated film. Practically every moment of it is familiar in some way. The plot is whatever the director needs it to be at any moment, and as far as dialog, I could have seen it in the original Indonesian and not missed much.
But there's a certain loopy fun to it all, with touches of The Ring here, the Evil Dead there, a hundred telegraphed jump scares, and an unintentional homage to Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Cheap, gory ghosts share the screen with weepy sentimentality. It doesn't linger on anything and just keeps chugging along on its own chutzpah. Give it a try; once the ghosts show up you'll know if it's for you.

Basically the story is very similar to The Eye (asian version and Hollywood version) and Insidious. The story, acting, CGI are just some kind of joke...

What happened to the days when Asian horror was innovative and scary? This movie is not just a ripoff of Asian horror of 20 years ago, it's also a ripoff of American movies like The Sixth Sense. I keep hoping I'll find a scary movie one of these days. This definitely isn't it. It *does* kind of work as a comedy, though.

Weaving through the many narratives through this film, I was left with one important question:
How did that man get through customs without realising he was dead.
1. He would have had to print out his boarding pass. Dead hands can't print.
2. How did he not notice everyone was ignoring him when he tried to purchase his prawn mayonnaise sandwich at the airport?
3. And when the staff asked for his passport.
4. When he was on the plane, how did he manage to secure a seat. Most planes are full brim. Surely someone would have through him?
5. The trolley would have surely passed, an his request for a prawn mayonnaise sandwich would have fallen on deaf ears.
Possibly the most implausible part of the film.
