Nice comedy movie with emotional scenes , messages, happy ending, family movie, simple but sweet movie. Liked the performances of Siddharth and Ajay, rakul as usual cutie pie. Lovely movie. Movie should be atleast hit or above average box office collection.atleast at Indian box office, it should be hit, Indians can relate it with their emotions. Other characters also fine. Though the movie is centrally focused on only two characters that is of AJAY and Siddharth, the whole movie rotates around them, around these two characters. Entertaining, people should be generous , do good deeds, loyal ciao.

The film rounds on Ayaan Kapoor's (played by Siddharth Malhotra) life. We commit a lot of sins in our lives and we get to realise only after facing the ramifications of our actions. The film shoves a sense of guilt in our minds. It makes us realise how we commit several sins out of our self greed. CG (played by Ajay Devgn) showcases the rash decisions and choices made by Ayaan for his own sake of interest. Hats off to the director Indra Kumar and the writers for portraying the characters in a such a way that it reaches the hearts of the audience.
The character of Ayaan is written in a beautiful manner. We can sense our own faults through his character portrayal on screen. The performance of Siddharth Malhotra as Ayaan Kapoor is amazing. He just got into the skin of the character. He just marks a place in your heart by the end of the movie.
The screen presence of Ajay Devgn is a treat for cinema lovers. The director had kept in his mind that he is a superstar and he portrayed him in the apt way. As always, Ajay Devgn lived the character of CG.
Rakul Preet Singh as Ruhi Kapoor, Ayaan's wife, looked very pretty and gave a good performance.
Overall, Thank God is a must watch movie which acts like a judgement of all our actions. After coming out of the theatre, it will make you a better person.

Just mind blowing..
Brilliantly executed...... The plot is fresh and doesn't bore anytime. Performance wise- ajay devgn stands out others are also good.. Comedy, Emotions, action everything is there.. Writer deserves a special mention for dialogues ... Nora fatehi song is very well adjusted. It doesnt feel like it is forcefully inserted rather it brightens the film screenspace.. Life of earth and heaven is shown in a nice way... Concept like this will only come in bollywood if we support them.
At last when u walk out of theatre you not only get entertainment comedy but also a life lesson......

***Thank God Movie Review*** 3/5 ⭐
Directed by Indra Kumar starring Ajay Devgn Rakul Preet Siddharth P Malhotra in lead role.
An official remake of the Danish Film " Sorte Kugler"
Plot of The Movie...
Ayan Kapoor alias Siddharth is a well known real estate broker. Post demonetization, his empire started to fall and he became a huge debtor. In the process of his hustle bustle life to overcome his financial crisis, he met with an accident and when his eyes open he is with Chitragupta alias CG alias Ajay Devgn.
There he plays the game of life wherein time tells whether he will go back to planet earth or go to hell or heaven forever...
Analysis of the Movie
1) The plot which is taken by Indra Kumar, is a topic which is age old belief that as per the karma, a human will be going to heaven or hell. Here in a comic way, he executed the age old topic.
2) Writers Aakash Kaushik, Madhur Sharma had just refined this concept as per the modern way wherein Chitragupta will be seen in a black blazer with a salt and pepper beard look. A game show, giving the contestant a chance to redeem their sins.
3) The subplot through the form of game show, a sizzling item dance of Nora Fatehi leads the way to the main plot wherein at the end, how the changes happens in Ayan's life.
4) Coming to the performance, Siddharth Malhotra had bringed up the character of Ayan who is self centred, envy. A grey shade but many comic moments delivered
5) Ajay Devgn, I cannot able to witness some noteworthy performance except from his salt and pepper beard look.
6) Rakul had done a good job.
7) Music was ok
8) Aseem Bajaj cinematography was good enough to watch it on big screen.
9) Vfx at unnecessary places.
Overall, its just reminds me of the Kal ho na Ho title song " Har ghadi badal rahi hein roop zindagi, chav hein kahhi hai dhoop zindagi, har pal yaha jee bhar jeeyo, jo hai sama , kal ho na ho "

Thank God - starring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet Singh - is a light-hearted comedy drama directed by Indra Kumar that packs a social message along with some scintillating dance moves, courtesy Nora Fatehi. However, the execution falters and you feel like you're stuck in a dated premise from the late '90s.
Story about seven deadly sins
Ayaan Kapoor (Sidharth Malhotra), a broke real estate agent, meets with an accident. He wakes up in Yamlok, where he must play the 'Game of Life'. The tasks for this game are set by CG (Ajay Devgn), the gatekeeper of heaven. If Ayaan manages to collect more white balls than black balls in this game, he can return to Earth. Or else, he will be banished to hell.
The tasks that Ayaan must complete in order to save himself are a spin-off of the seven deadly sins - anger, greed, jealousy, delusion, pride, envy and lust. CG puts Ayaan in various real-life situations, and how he reacts in these circumstances will determine his future.
Comedy with a social message
In a feel-good vein, Thank God reminds the audience of the value of family in one's life. Ayaan wants to sell his house so that he can pay off his debts. The sequences where he takes prospective buyers on a tour around the house are rib-tickling. The comedy is situational, like most of Indra Kumar's earlier works. There is an element of satire in scenes depicting a desperate Ayaan trying to woo Lord Hanuman.
CG's dialogues are laced with sarcasm as he takes Ayaan to task for his actions. In a subtle reference to the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, CG claims a tall superstar stole the idea of game shows from his 'Game of Life'.
In another scene, CG is confronted by Ayaan, who believes this is all a grand set-up. He demands to know why everyone in Yamlok is wearing modern clothes. CG immediately changes to traditional Indian attire and addresses Ayaan in Sanskrit. When the latter fails to understand what he is saying, the demigod says, "See, this is why we stay like this, so you guys can understand."
Amidst all the fun, there's some food for thought. In his zeal to earn a quick buck, Ayaan ignores his real wealth - his family.
Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra keep one entertained
Ajay Devgn is spot on as the no-nonsense demigod who will send you to hell at the tiniest of transgressions. Sidharth makes his unscrupulous character, who wouldn't mind causing trouble and blaming it on others, believable. Ajay and Sidharth have great on-screen chemistry as CG torments Ayaan in order to make the latter conversant with life lessons. However, both the characters are one-dimensional and lack depth and Ajay, especially, remains underutilised.
Rakul Preet Singh is earnest as Ayaan's supportive wife Ruhi. Dealing with an out-of-work husband requires immense patience, but Ruhi manages to tackle the situations with her charming innocence. Kanwaljeet Singh and Seema Pahwa have cameos as Ayaan's parents, who do justice to their parts.
Nora Fatehi shakes a leg
In a short but sparkling cameo, Nora Fatehi leaves an impression with her dance moves to the Hindi remake of the viral Sinhalese song Manike mage hithe, sung by Yohani, as she tries to seduce a mesmerised Ayaan. Sparks fly as the duo hit it off, and Siddharth-Nora's chemistry is sizzling.
Poor execution
Despite having an interesting premise, and really likeable performances, Thank God falls short of your expectations because of the poor execution. The theme at the heart of the film is dated and stuck in the '90s. The makers refuse to scratch beyond the surface and end up creating black-and-white characters, without any shades of grey. The divine intervention in the end is too simplistic and convenient.

The movie shines at times but also gets really dull at moments. Screenplay is the primary problem that the movie tackles. Also, now that vfx is improving in bollywood, this movie should have invested the effort in VFX specially when it has a good amount of requirement in the film.
Songs seem a bit misplaced in the film with only the item song surprisingly taking the story forward. Female protagonist seems to have nothing much to do in the film. Although, with remakes this could have been delivered better. Overall this is a one time watch movie. Background score is nice and engaging but there seem too many movements with camera angles that make it less engrossed for the viewer.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this film is,after the trailer i was very skeptical about the film. But the film is surprisingly heartwarming with right dosage of comedy throughout the film.
In the film ajay devgn has the most interesting role you would definitely laugh with his sidhart plays very unlikable character who redeems himself at the end
