Don't know why people are hyped for this movie. For me, it was not even worth watching once. The pace of the movie was slow, and it suffered from poor direction. Additionally, the script was loose, failing to capitalize on the potential of such a compelling story. The film lacked any thrilling elements, and the animation was subpar. If it were an audiobook, the entire movie could be concluded in 5 to 10 minutes. The movie failed to build any suspense or emotional connection. Overall, the film fell short in almost every aspect, resulting in an unsatisfactory and forgettable cinematic experience.

This is the most backward movie iv watched im a long time. Although the concept was good, the level of male chauvinism in the movie is beyond ridiculous. Which world are these people living in? Have south filmmakers stopped going to school? And this pathetic film maker has the Audacity to announce a sequel. I am more nauseous than scared. Spoiler ahead. Anyways women please read it's not worth watching. The movie banks on the idea that it's okay for a man to sacrifice his wife to the devil if she has had s*x before marriage. The only reason he feels repentance is when she reminds him that she bled during their first night together and that she is now pregnant. Do these backward citizens still believe virginity test is by bleeding?

Tantiram is a unique fantasy drama packed with few thrills, some romance and beautiful visuals. The slow paced narration in the beginning is a flaw but it kept aside the movie picks its pace in the second half with a top notch climax which brings in a feeling of satisfaction within you. Tantiram is a well executed story line with great visuals. The makers tried to convey an important message by picking up a socially sensitive topic and delivered it beautifully through the screenplay. This is a must watch. Tantiram is a gripping experience with a few bumps here and there but overall it's a good watch. The concept Jinn is something new to me which Piqued my interest to watch this movie and trust me it delivered. Though its narration was a bit slow in the beginning it made sure I hooked up to the screen in the later half. And in the open end climax made me curious and I am eagerly waiting for the next part. Tantiram is a good watch and highly recommended to young girls. I went in to watch this movie with zero expectations and the initial portion of it kept me hooked as the narrator explained about a supernatural entity Jinn but the slow paced narration put me off track and I thought this is it I booked a bad one but the later half of the film put me back on track and the actual plot started and in the end I was so satisfied that I wanted to recommend this one to all the woman out there who are married and to the ones who are planning to get married.

Hero sells his wife to jinn, murders his father and then hangs himself. That was depressing to watch. I expected this movie to be like Kantara where the climax was extraordinary. Not sure how this movie got so much positive ratings. The hero has been shown as a fool throughout the movie which is where the movie lacked the punch. Hero should have searched what happened to his mother before giving up on his wife. That would have been an interesting twist. If you want to watch a fantasy type of movie, watch tumbaad or Kantara which are truly remarkable movies. This movie lacks that kind of pace. I have given 2 stars to this movie because for the heroine in this film who has done her character really well. Hero also was okay but his timid/coward character was a huge let down for this movie !

I don't watch many Indian movies, so of course I was not familiar with this 2023 horror mystery titled "Tantiram" prior to sitting down to watch it. I happened to come across the movie by random chance, and actually found the synopsis to prove interesting enough. However, writers Wineeth Ponnuru and M. S. Shabaz put together a script and storyline that turned out to be rather generic and predictable. And it was, in fact, not really a particularly scary movie at all. So that was a bit of a disappointment. Maybe if you are Indian and have an insight into the culture there, then the movie would be more enjoyable. The acting performances in the movie were fair. Needless to say that I wasn't familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. Visually then "Tantiram" didn't offer much, as it wasn't a movie that used a lot of special effects. In fact, you don't ever get to properly see the Djinn that is lurking in the shadows. And that was a shame, because the movie would have benefitted from that. Not a great movie, nor a movie that I would recommend horror fans to rush out and get to watch. I can cross it off of my watched-movies-list now, and I know that I will never return to watch it a second time. My rating of director Muthyala Meher Deepak's 2023 movie "Tantiram" lands on a three out of ten stars.

"Tantiram" is a cinematic masterpiece that gracefully weaves an enchanting narrative with a world of mysticism and breathtaking visuals. At its core, the film invites us to delve into the captivating journey of Baalachandran, a man burdened by the enigmatic echoes of his mother's disappearance during his childhood. His life embarks on a profound transformation when a mystical entity, Tantiram, makes a captivating entrance, heralding an enchanting revelation. The film commences with a spellbinding mythological prologue, immersing us in the mysterious legend of Ahalya's transformation into stone. This captivating prologue sets the stage for the enchanting odyssey that unfolds. "Tantiram" provides a fresh perspective on the world of magic, unveiling the hidden powers that exist in the shadows, evoking curiosity and wonder. At its heart, "Tantiram" revolves around two remarkable characters, portrayed brilliantly by Priyanka Sharma and Srikanth Gurram. Their performances are nothing short of exceptional, breathing life into complex characters and authentically portraying the evolution of their connection. The enigmatic presence of Tantiram, brought to life through stunning special effects, adds an extra layer of enchantment to the narrative. Visually, "Tantiram" is a visual feast. The cinematography and art direction are exquisite, immersing the audience in the mystical world of Baalachandran and the enchantment that surrounds him. The film's use of special effects to bring the supernatural elements to life is nothing short of breathtaking, blurring the lines between reality and the mystical. While "Tantiram" is a captivating journey filled with wonder and magic, it's not without minor areas for improvement. Some scenes could benefit from tighter editing, and a deeper exploration of certain character motivations would have added an extra layer of depth to the narrative. Nevertheless, these are minor nuances within the grand tapestry of the film's enchantment. In conclusion, "Tantiram" is a cinematic gem that skillfully explores themes of magic, transformation, and the profound impact of the mystical on human existence. The film's seamless fusion of mythology, fantasy, and enchantment offers a unique and unforgettable cinematic experience. "Tantiram" stands as a testament to the art of storytelling, transporting audiences to a world where the line between the ordinary and the extraordinary blurs, and where 'Tantiram' unveils an entrancing tale of magic and revelation. Don't miss this enchanting journey into the mystical unknown.

"Time Trap" is a spectacular letdown, wasting precious hours on an aimless plot that offers zero horror and even less coherence. The story meanders through clichés and bizarre twists, failing to provide any thrills or excitement. Characters are flat, and the dialogue is cringe-worthy. The supposed adventure turns into a tedious drag, with every scene more pointless than the last. It's a frustratingly dull experience, devoid of any redeeming quality, leaving viewers feeling like they've waded through a dumpster of nonsensical garbage. Save your time and sanity-skip this mess. It is a disappointing, time-wasting experience better left unwatched. Save your time and skip this garbage.

A moral person switches off this movie with around 25 min left unwatched in the end. One incurs sin by watching this movie to the end. Whenever one watches a movie and enjoys it, they are colluding and agreeing with the writer and the director's imagination and ideas. For that reason one shall not collude with the movie writer's regressive ideas by continuing to watch the movie to the end, for they incur sin. This movie sneakily contains the regressive idea that the guy would have been justified in getting his wife raped / killed by the demon if she had in fact lived a natural sex life and had a partner before their marriage. No no no, what she did before the marriage was none of his freaking business, and he would not be justified in what he did to her regardless of what she had done in her past, or even the present for that matter.
