This movie is absolutely terrible. I don't understand the purpose of this movie. I couldn't even finish it, that's how bad it was. It was actually painful to watch during the time that I attempted this movie. The acting is absolute garbage..a turtle could act in a movie better than these people did. The woman Alice, would just nonchalantly ask the man Chris "why are you doing this to me?", in which he never really would respond with an actual answer. His motive was never really discussed, other than the psychiatrist claiming he had 'impostor syndrome' or something-whatever that is. The lead female actress that played Alice is seriously one of the worth actors i have even seen. I really cannot believe this movie actually made it past shooting and editing..a toddler must have edited it and decided to release it to the public. Very disappointing, Lifetime-you's should be embarrassed; I am actually embarrassed for anyone involved in this. Don't bother watching this, unless you want to see how bad it is.

I actually made an account on IMDb just to write a review of this laughable movie. Every scene was so dumb and senseless- horrible acting...nothing made sense about this movie. The killer's motive- what was it? I didn't understand anything, nothing had a point. It was so bad.
How did the killer know where she was every second of the movie? He somehow always popped up everywhere she went. What was his motive? I am at the end of the movie, and I'm still trying to figure out this guy's purpose. The scene with the dad and the baseball bat was absolutely ridiculous. At the end of the movie it shows him on another Valentine's Day date a year later which leads me to wonder what the heck does this guy do when it's not Valentine's Day for the rest of the year??????

First, the actress playing Alice needs coaching to lose her heavy Midwestern accent as it's distracting. She also needs some acting lessons.
Anyway, Alice's friend intervenes on her behalf on a dating app, shooting a heart at ...Tom Sandoval(??) and when it comes to the date, a totally different guy turns up, named Chris.
This movie is completely unbelievable, as Chris proceeds to stalk Alice and her boss (Eric Roberts), her friend and family, yet she says nothing. Of course she can handle everything herself! /sarcasm.
Alice finally goes to a detective (played by Jackeé) who is completely useless. The usual improbable Lifetime events unfold right up to the end.
The actor playing Chris is kind of a ham, as he's been in several other Lifetime movies including playing the decent guy in the recent Talk, Dark and Dangerous.
Skip unless completely bored.

This new lifetime movie is centered around Valentines day, where a psycho catfishing dates becomes romantically obsessed with a lawyer and then proceeds to stalk her at every turn.
I personally enjoyed this thriller, some of the acting wasn't the greatest but overall it kept my attention. I kept wanting to see what this psycho did next and all of the crap he put the lead actress through.
Jamie Bernadette did pretty well in her role as Alice, the lawyer he kept stalking.
However I do feel in these situations that the cops are pretty useless. I mean the guy gets away in the end. Hard to tell how many different identities he was using. Plus was hoping for a few more deaths in this. Not a bad lifetime valentines day stalker shocker!

Where did they find the lead actress from this movie?? HORRIBLE!!! The storyline wasn't too bad but my goodness, this lady couldn't act her way out a paper bagl! Crazy guy is obsessing over her from one meeting? I've seen this actor in other movies and he's not the greatest either. TBH this movie was like watching a high school play. Also, was she wearing a wig? Her hair was certainly bizarre. I think the only decent actor in the movie is the lady that plays her assistant. And she doesn't have very many lines so that should tell you a lot about this movie. How did Eric Roberts agree to star in this pile of mung?!

Acting is not all that great. Alice fails to tell her parents about him while he continuously shows up at their home. Chris the impostor dude got caught on camera killing his psychiatrist and the detective still had no information or lead on catching this guy then in the end Alice pepper sprayed him in the eyes and he was still able to run free from the detective. It seems there was no attempt by even the detective to run after and catch Chris. How did he get away that fast when he just got pepper sprayed in the face??? Then in the end Alice says to Janie and the detective that Chris can't ever hurt anyone again. What?? Like how do you know that when the detective did not catch him. He will just disguise himself again and go to another state, city or country and do the same to other women Duh... Also this may sound a bit weird but the character that plays Alice looked like a white Janet Jackson in parts of the movie lol..

Alice Miles has just been promoted to partner at a law firm but she lacks a social life and her friend, Janie, shoots a Cupid arrow to a dude Alice has been looking at on an online dating app called "Be My Valentine." Trouble is when the dude sends her back a reply and they agree to meet, Alice realizes she has been cat-fished because the dude seated doesn't look anything like the one in the app photo and she tells him nicely she doesn't appreciate being played. Chris, the impostor dude, doesn't seem to care because he just wants a Valentine's date and wants to continue seeing her and spending time with her Alice tells him not to bother her ever again but Chris has other ideas and continues to call her, stalk her, and insinuates himself into both her personal and professional life. What will Alice do to stop him? Frankly, at this point in the movie, I didn't care. This recycled trope is tedious, with horrible acting, plots holes galore, a bad script, bad direction, and is just an overall mess. Skip it..
