Its a psycho-horror drama flick about an american hippie-backpacker going rural to find his vanished friend, that ends up in a nightmare, because he turned down the wish of a hot sunburned spanish woman, that gave away her heart but was sent back in return. so let the moral be, do not even think about letting a spanish girl down, then shell let you run the devil on the spanish highway. its a slow flick with some acceptable acting, a suspencefull score, and a beautiful filmography. but its not one for the grumpy old man, he's far too restless , but its still a recommend if you like psychophobia.

This movie is very original and i was entertained from the beginning to the end. There are no long unnecessary scenes, every minute of it is satisfying. From start to finish i wanted to know more and more, the great thing is that its not one of those "obvious" movies. There is substance, you can never tell "oh now this is gonna happen", it is very well thought. So perfect from start to finish with a great surprising ending ! A gem !!!

Can somebody explain what I just watched? Don't understand the story.....it's not a lovestory. Was not impressed by Mike. A so called tourist who's travelling to the other end of the world to look for his friend? Left me with questions. Main question is why did I bother to watch 😏

I found myself irritated with one of the reviewers who gave this film a poor review. Treat yourself and watch this. 7/10

Great addition to a night in. Good story telling and not too obvious! Would absolutely reccomend.

The movie was great - really kept engaged and guessing. One I would recommend watching either solo or with a group. The storyline is the best asset to the film along with the great production.

I realise this was a low budget production. This was much lower. The only endearing feature was the lead actor Ryan Tonkin. Hopefully he will pick up better roles. The story was slow and some of the cinematography was poorly thought out. Poor script and the characters not really believable. Although I am not a writer, director or cinematographer the film could have been a lot better. I see that this is planned to be a trilogy. Sorry to say but I wouldn't bother. The music was strange. It didn't really improve the film. I was going to give up 20 minutes in but I paid £2.99 to rent it. Should have bought a lottery ticket instead.

Stupid is as stupid does.This whole movie is stupid. Goodness, what a load of garbage. What is there to like? The plot? The acting? The scenery? People just do not behave the way this guy does in life threatening situations. Only at the end does he do the NORMAL thing but its too late for that poor sap.

An excellently filmed and acted movie that kept my attention throughout. However, watching this at the time of the Australian bushfire crisis I was somewhet repelled, near the movie's start, by seeing the lead character throw an empty plastic water bottle into what looked like dry grassland under a blazing sun without any adverse comments from the other characters (unless I missed something!). For that reason I gave this seven stars rather than eight.
